"Our experience was a mixed bag. The property in general looks really good, spacious and well planned. They have a private beach with life guard in the back which was really good and clean. Special mention with all the lifeguards and staff present in the beach, they were exceptional. The rooms were also really big and spacious. There was live music near the restaurant every evening which was performed by some talented artists. However on arrival even though our standard check in was at 2 pm and we arrived by 1 30 pm, we had to wait until almost 3 pm for our room to be ready. This happened even though we had informed the property about our arrival times a day in advance. The staff in the reception was seemed ignorant even though we were waiting there the entire time and never offered an apology for the delay. Even after we got our room, it was not in a pretty state, first we had to wait outside for another 15 mins for the cleaning staff to finish and once entering found that the floor and toilet all were still wet. This whole process really gave a bad start to our stay and is not something we would look forward to in the future. The bed was good but the mattress cover had some stains from the previous use. There were quite a few marks of wear and tear in the room otherwise. The food in the restaurant was good but a bit pricey and quantities didn't give justice to the price. The breakfast buffet was good varied and tasted nice. The staff in the restaurant was also nice and professional."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful lunch experience at Hotel Olivia. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish prepared fresh and served at the perfect temperature. The quality, taste, and presentation were all excellent. The staff were very welcoming, especially sandeep dribika sumit manoj polite, and attentive throughout our visit. They ensured that everything was served on time and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The restaurant was clean, well-maintained, and had a relaxing ambiance, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend Hotel Olivia to anyone looking for delicious food and excellent hospitality. I will definitely visit again soon!"

"This is a really fine homestay hotel. It’s very new and well-designed. There’s a small pool on the roof that offers a great view of the beach while you cool off. There’s an elevator for those of us who can’t handle stairs as well as we once could. The owner and staff are super friendly. Complimentary breakfast was eaten with other guests and usually the owner. A very family-like atmosphere."

"We stayed in Mr. Jose homestay for 2 days. Got a very warm welcome and felt very homely. Mr.Jose is a gem of a person. He made sure that our stay is comfortable. Even his staff were very humble and helpful. We even went on his houseboat which was neat and clean and very well maintained like his homestays and the country Boat ride within the small canals where we could see the daily life of the locals. Food was amazing giving us an experience of Kerala cuisine. Mr. Jose is very helpful for any enquiries or query it will be answered within minutes & also will make sure to make any last minute adjustments whatever is possible 😊 Thank you so much Mr. Jose for making our Alleppey trip memorable.
