Amritara A Beach Symphony
"We had a lovely time at Beach Symphony at Marari - this is a genuine review and we have no relation to the owner or employees. The staff were excellent and we enjoyed our discussions with Deepu. Shaylan the chef made every effort to cook good food for us and we liked the set up where meals were bought to your own terrace. Dominic was also a pleasure when serving the food with his unique sense of humour. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxed time at Marari. Not withstanding you can hear local activity at times but it is always quiet after 8.00pm but the sounds of the birds and the odd sighting of a chipmunk adds to the tropical experience. The beach is just outside with various beach shacksThe Fisherman’s Cafe serves good food. The sea is warm but on the rough side so care is advised. However the Beach Symphony has a really nice garden with 15 meter pool. The best cottage is the one with its own pool - a large light room with a high ceiling - the bathroom is outside in the garden. The next best room is the one adjacent to it with the red wall. I hope future guests enjoy it as much as we did. Jane ,UK national living in Spain."
The Sea by Club Travalet
"This is a really fine homestay hotel. It’s very new and well-designed. There’s a small pool on the roof that offers a great view of the beach while you cool off. There’s an elevator for those of us who can’t handle stairs as well as we once could. The owner and staff are super friendly. Complimentary breakfast was eaten with other guests and usually the owner. A very family-like atmosphere."
Uday Backwater Resort
"Very good ambience, pool, birds, weather, boating, rooms everything was too good, Hospitality was so good A beautiful must visit place"
Lemon Tree Vembanad Lake Resort, Kerala
"Our room was excellent as it was a suite and overlooked the Vembanad Lake so we were lucky to have an amazing sunset view. Great view if you had to work, the desk was set right in front of the window with again a magnfiicient view. The pool also overlooked the Lake and it was a lovely setting. The Ayurvedic service was good and so reasonably priced compared to many hotels in Kerala, so do try them out. The food was a breakfast buffet, mostly Indian food and dinner was included and was also Indian and cooked well. The restaurant tables were not tidied up when we were the first to arrive for breakfast and that was the only thing we weren't comfortable with."
Marari Beach Resort Alleppey- a CGH Earth Experience
"It was a very pleasant vacation marari beach made us very rich with very hygiene and good food to marari beach resort"
BluSalzz Villa - Muhamma, Alleppey - Kerala
Raheem Heritage Beach Resort since 1868
"Good food and large rooms but need to be maintained and added fresh components. The antique look and feel is good but cleaner upholstery and drapes would be well appreciated. There’s a beautiful pool that even little kids can enjoy. Good and tasty food, we loved the beef and parottas. "
Camelot Hotel
"Value for money, clean rooms, food we had here were all yummy, appreciate the hospitality of staffs at reception, restaurant and house keeping."
Seclude Kerala, Marari Sands
"We hosted a program there. The venue is really beautiful. Our friends and family gave a lot of good comments on the property and the food. We had a great experience. The staffs and manager were super friendly. I will definitely suggest this place to everyone."

Achayans Homestay Mararikulam
"We had a very nice stay with Jimmy, Greeta and Emiel. We felt very welcome, the family is just so friendly and is there to help you. Greeta is a good cook; she make delicious breakfast and big portions, we enjoyed that very much. The room is very clean. The beach is within walking distance and the most beautiful beach we have seen so far in India. When we are in Alleppey again we will definitely come back!"
Marari Nest Beach Homestay
"The owner looks after his hotel and guests with the same care he lavishes on his garden. It’s a beautiful property, close to the beach, spotlessly clean, with excellent breakfasts (and dinners if you choose) which are, more often than not, served by the owner himself. Highly recommended!"
Abad Turtle Beach
"We stayed for 5 nights at the end of a trip crossing India from Chennai to Kochi and had a lovely time. The level of service was excellent (with a special mention for Nicy at reception) - there was a genuinely friendly atmosphere. While service was 5 star, 3.5 stars for the rest is about right - there were some property maintenance issues and no alcohol licence. We preferred not to eat at their restaurant - there are plenty of beach options for grilled 'catch of the day' and beer served incognito in a teapot. Can definitely recommend."
Marari Sea Scape Homestay
"I did a 15-day yoga retreat and we were welcomed by the family of Binoy the owner with lots of attention and smiles. The meals were excellent. The place was peaceful by the sea and very clean in a beautiful, well-maintained garden. Don't hesitate to book, you will be wonderfully welcomed🌸🌴"
Marari Beach Palace
"This place is a little piece of heaven in gorgeous Marari. It was everything I needed to make my holidays unforgettable in every way. The rooms are spacious, clean, the bathroom as well! Food is a wonderful mixture of typical Indian dishes but you can also get non-Indian food, all prepared by the in-house chef. However, a special shout out to the manager Rajiv, who was so incredibly helpful, kind and protective of the guests, there was no one question that he wouldn't try to answer, resolve or be of service. In other words, you get a lot of bang for your buck here. Lastly, the place features enormous and incredibly well maintained garden, with a pool as well, and the vegetation, from flowers to trees and bushes and everything you can imagine, the greenery is simply beyond and every morning I woke up and got out of the room, the view just made my life! Warmly recommend it!!!"
Lake Canopy Alleppey
"We had a amazing stay at lake canopy. The property is surrounded by beautiful greenery and offers a peaceful atmosphere making it perfect place to relax. The room were clean, spacious, and well maintained and every part of the resort reflected quality and comfort The hospitality was exceptional and the front office staff was very friendly and ready to assist with smile Especially Mr.Anoop and Elaina There is one more guy in front office i just forgot his name he have moustache I think he is the manager they were very helpful and made our stay memorable. Looking forward to visiting again soon"
Sterling Lake Palace Alleppey
"Sterling Lake Palace is a gem. Located in the backwaters of a Alleppey, it is calm, serene and breathtaking. The service is amazing, as well as the food. The rooms open into the backwaters, which feels like staying in a houseboat. The breakfast buffet spread is huge & tastes great. The wonderful staff. Would love to visit here again."
Paloma Backwater Resorts
"Great stay and many good experiences. Canoeing was amazing."
Trium Resorts
"Everything was so good! Room was compact and comfortable. Had a beautiful boat ride. Staffs were so friendly and polite."
Ramada by Wyndham Alleppey
"One of the most amazing 5 star hotel in Alappuzha. The hotel keeps high level of standard and luxury while keeping the beauty of nature on the other side. So the people who comes there can experience the luxury and the vintage at the same time. The room was really good with the view of the Vembanadu lake. And the front desk staff over there was really nice and welcoming. Especially the front desk executive Mr. Nishnav was really helpful and polite. He was always ready to listen to us and happy to sort out our requirements. And the hotel is highly recommended and will come again with friends."
Hotel Royale Park Alleppey
"My mum and I had dinner at Royale Park restaurant. We had prown fried rice (very good), karimeen fish (also very good, but pay attention to the bones!) and kayal kalanji fish which was excellent! It was so good we came back again here the day after. Staff was friendly and quick. Highly recommended if you are in Alleppey!"
Time Square Boutique Hotel & Spa
"I recently stayed at Time Square Hotel and had a mostly enjoyable experience. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. They were attentive and went out of their way to ensure my comfort and convenience throughout my stay. The room itself was lovely – clean, spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable, offering a wonderful retreat after a day of exploring the city. It was evident that the hotel takes great pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Breakfast at the hotel was reasonable, with a decent selection of items that catered to different tastes. While it wasn't the most extensive buffet I've encountered, the quality of the food was good, and it provided a solid start to the day. However, my stay wasn't without its issues. The most persistent problem was the constant cold calls from the hotel's spa. Receiving these calls almost daily became quite bothersome. It's something the hotel management might want to reconsider or at least provide guests with the option to opt out of such communications. Additionally, there was an unfortunate incident with one of the staff members who berated me for not informing them in advance that I would be missing the buffet breakfast on one occasion. This abruptness was surprising and not in line with the otherwise excellent service standard set by the rest of the team. In summary, my stay at Time Square Hotel was delightful on many fronts, with commendable staff, lovely accommodations, and reasonable dining options. However, the spa's marketing tactics and the isolated incident with a staff member did mar the overall experience slightly. I hope the hotel takes this feedback into consideration to ensure an even more pleasant and seamless experience for future guests"
