We had a great stay and are returning guests to this property. The location and the staff are fantastic and make your experience excellent. We stayed in a room with a large balcony offering wonderful balcony furniture where you can enjoy you private breakfast or just a cup of coffee. The hotel is very dog friendly which is a plus for us.
The rooms are not really big but big enough to feel comfortable. Bathrooms are rather small and have very little storage area. Breakfast buffet offers everything you need and the staff even recommends dishes from the kitchen freshly prepared for you.
We will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to the Ligurian coast.

Everything about this hotel is absolutely amazing. However, the one reason I will not return is because you have no control over the temperature. We are 4 ladies in our 50s who run hot at night. Even though you put your thermostat down to a certain temperature, it’s all controlled by the staff. Night after night, we asked for our room to be cooler and it went down maybe a half degree. So uncomfortable sleeping. I completely understand energy efficiency but when it’s to the detriment of your guests that’s not good.

Has a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel. Its very expensive so get ready for that. We enjoyed the beach club daily, very comfortable lounges and nice towels. The cost of Spritz's and drinks very expensove - 25Euro spritz was over the top i felt. Made for very expensive refreshments for a travelling family.

Great we day short stay. Excellent position, staff first rate. Breakfast yum. Excellent coffee. Spritz at 25 Euro too expensive. Lucky lots of options in town a more than 1/2 the price.

Fantastic old-world style grand hotel, internally renovated and up to modern standards. Arguably the best location in Alassio, with everything within walking distance. Rooms are modern, clean and functional. The private beach is a great addition. What really sets this hotel apart is the service level, from restaurant bookings to help with rental cars and last-minute changes to bookings. Nothing was impossible, on the contrary the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was solved. If anything, the only slight downside was a fairly limited breakfast selection compared to some other luxury hotels up and down the coast but the items available were of high quality. An excellent experience and we will definitely be back

A wonderful, relaxing, rejuvenating, peaceful stay! It is our second visit as we had such a lovely time last year - everything just the same high standard given with the same kindness and generosity of spirit...The Front desk, the sweet Cleaning team, the Bellboys, the Breakfast team, the Bar, the Spa and the Beach team ..wonderful! Alex Cancel is the Head Concierge and it is him that makes the magic happen and brings it all together. As with all the great Concierge's of the top Hotels in the world he works his magic unobtrusively, expertly, quietly and without any fuss. He has one of those very rare qualities of being able to pre-empt what it is you may need or want without you realising it! A beautiful personal note left for us with some delicious Italian Prosecco on arrival, the same stunning Room as last year, the same delicious Cake for my Birthday as last year - he remembers it all! If its 'sold out' tickets for Monaco you covet, he will find a way, a special place for supper in the hills of Alassio - he will know it and arrange it for you... Professional, unassuming and genuinely caring he manages, when he is in the Hotel to just raise the atmosphere to extra special... Everyone seems to genuinely love their job and take pride in it as well as being the sweetest and nicest of people. THIS is what will bring guests back as it certainly has for us! Location and the beauty of the Hotel was fantastic. The service from the time of check-in till checkout was great every knee taken care of. It was wonderful. We had dinner there and it was quite good. A little more selection of basic Italian would be nice the morning. Brunch was nothing more than amazing with great selections, hot and warm food and lots of selection. We definitely stay there again. The room was amazing.
