Aluasoul Alcudia Bay - Adults Only

Great hotel for a short couples stay, with excellent food and a range of drinks Great location for exploring Alcudia. Rooms were tidy and clean, only thing I would say is that there wasn't much storage space, but not an issue for us. Would stay as a couple again

Has the potential to be good, but that potential is being sadly wasted. Ground floor seems to be totally dead space when it could have a bar, comfy seating areas and better ambience rather than just being empty except reception, an unused area with Mac pcs and a soulless a la carte area that looks totally uninviting. There is only one small bar at this hotel, the pool bar, so only seating available is outside (beware, the trendy looking plastic seats, settee cushions have mould on them). Gets crowded and have to queue often. Evening entertainment is here too but performers can hardly be seen as no staging and lighting is poor, shame really as they work hard. All inclusive? Not when guests are expected to pay for bottles of water it isn't! The wi-fi is incredibly slow, usually around 1 Mbps download and upload effectively zero, what there is is very intermittent anyway. Food is ok, certainly adequate choice available, always something to mix/match. Could be warmer though (probably why there is a microwave in the middle!) Staff are superb which makes up for many shortfalls, always a smile & welcome (especially Arelys😁). They are SO overworked though, having to rush and clear/reset tables plus serve wine. Be easier on them if hotel had self-service wine taps put in! Pool good but loungers seen better days, old and saggy meaning they are very uncomfortable after a short while. Not enough parasols to go round either. Tea/coffee in room? Yes, but no milk and only 2 tea bags.... Room was ok, towels/bedding changed as often as you like. Bed is HUGE. Aircon works but does chuck out black fluff balls all over the floor so don't stroll around barefoot! Other reviewers have mentioned the shower tending to wet the whole floor, yep they are right, it does. That accounts for the bottom of the door frame and door itself being swollen & split. Summary: ok for short break . Alcudia itself is a great place, lovely harbour area and old town (plus extensive Roman ruins) in easy walking distance, clean and tidy too. Would we go back? Alcudia yes, this hotel no.

My boyfriend and I are just back from an all-inclusive, 4-night stay at Aluasoul Alcúdia Bay, which exceeded our expectations by a million miles. We arrived late on the first night to a friendly receptionist, a bright, clean, and spacious bedroom, and a dinner very thoughtfully set aside for us. We had a great impression of the hotel from the moment we arrived, and our stay only got better from there. Every single member of staff that we interacted with, from Davide in entertainment, to the cleaners and restaurant servers, was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was delicious, as were the cocktails and other drinks we tried. There were plenty of typically British foods on offer for unadventurous eaters, but there were also many tastes of Spain: paella, tortilla, tostada con tomate, churros etc. I myself am vegetarian and my boyfriend is somewhat fussy, but neither of us had any trouble getting our value for money at the buffet. Our wine glasses were always refilled before we had noticed they were empty, and our plates were cleared the moment we finished. We also really enjoyed the entertainment, which we hadn’t expected to. On the first night we watched a wonderfully charismatic singer who had most of the audience on their feet, and on the second we saw a mesmerising flamenco show. The pool was a little too chilly for our liking but that’s what you get for going in October. And although the hotel was at 95% capacity, so we were told, there was always space to sit at dinner and by the pool. It did, however, get fairly busy at times, and the best seats were often taken. We are so grateful to all staff for making our stay so wonderful. Our only real complaint is that the trip wasn’t long enough. ¡Muchas gracias!

Nice standard hotelroom(521). A flickering light in the hallway wasn't fixed dispite several trips to the front desk, and the floor wasn't cleaned properly every day. Besides that it was a very nice place. It was quiet and people sat in the pool reading or having drinks. The perks of a childfree hotel. The food was excellent and great variety. Poolbar was excellent and the entertainment very interesting and diverse.

great experience, unique food, entertainment and time spent. Great entertainer Davide very professional and hilarious. The location of the hotel is beautiful, very close to the beaches and the port. everything within walking distance. Truly great experience

Lovely hotel in Alcudia, nothing is too much for the staff as they are always willing to help. Rooms are a good size and beds very comfortable. Great base in Majorca as we were then going on to cruise round the Med for a week. Everything went like clockwork. Would recommend.

My second time at this hotel. I came last June when the weather and the pool was lovely and warm. This visit was different. Unknown to me this was the last week of the season. Sadly the pool was too cold to swim in but the days were lovely and warm. The evenings are cold this time of year so you need a jacket. I was quite happy to go to my room after dinner and relax. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, TV with British channels a free safe and free coffee and tea facilities. My last hotel in Menorca charged me 25 euros for a safe for a week. This hotel does not do that which is a huge bonus. This hotel also has a fridge in the room which is another bonus. Little things like this are so important. Food is plentiful and varied and the tables and eating areas are lovely and clean. Toilets are spotless in the reception area and also by the pool area . Beautiful water drinking station in reception which we enjoyed each day too. Whilst I was there a lady came to my room with a bottle of bubbly and 2 glasses and said 'Welcome back'. I was so taken aback by the gesture but it was very gratefully received and was a lovely touch. The hotel is centrally located and the beach shops and market are easily accessed. I had a lovely relaxing break and have booked to go again in June next year.
