Eastern Al Montazah Hotel

The hotel building itself is excellent, but the breakfast is very modest.

This "Egyptian" hotel has spacious rooms, but they're cluttered with unnecessary armchairs and sofas. It's okay for a one-night stay. Breakfast: omelette, falafel, pancakes (!), vegetables and a green salad, and bad coffee. Montaza Park is within walking distance. There's a Carrefour grocery store nearby.

The location is a bit out of the way, and the hallways are narrow, but my room had a huge balcony. A pleasant surprise! However, it seems there are no double beds available; all rooms are standard rooms.

Good afternoon, I'd like to start by saying that the check-in process took quite a while—we stood around for about 20 minutes waiting for registration. In the evening, we wanted to take a bath, but there was no hot water. We called the manager for help and gathered all the brothers and in-laws, as is typical in Egypt. After prodding and prodding, water appeared an hour later. We went to the sauna, the price was 140, and left it was 180. Okay, we paid, but then it turned out we had to pay for two... They gave us 400 pounds, but they never brought us change... There was no water in the room, we asked for it—it should be free—but they charged us 35 pounds a bottle. While in Egypt, you could write a feature film about your stay here. I don't feel like arguing or proving anything anymore. It's pointless here.

The music and songs are annoying and play 24 hours a day. There is a ladies' lounge in the hotel that is very annoying. I sang all night. The bathroom door doesn't lock. The pool is not clean. The internet is very weak. In short, I do not recommend staying there.
