"We booked a suite. It took a 10-minute walk from the hotel lobby to the room. There was no shuttle bus, so we had to walk, but thankfully someone helped with our luggage. Perhaps due to the overall economic and social conditions in Alexandria, especially after staying at the Four Seasons in Sharm, I really felt it wasn't up to par. The hotel faces the sea, which was quite beautiful. The sunrise and sunset views were indeed great. However, the suite itself was really not good; it was like a guesthouse from China in the 70s or 80s. The room service, though, was very enthusiastic, folding different animal shapes with towels every day. Breakfast was terrible. Even though the overall hotel environment was mediocre, it doesn't diminish my love for Alexandria. The people of Alexandria are the best I've met in Egypt. Taxis didn't overcharge, and everyone was very friendly!"

"Traveling as a group of four, there was no doorman to open the car door upon arrival. It was only after we carried our luggage up the steps and through the main entrance that a doorman finally came to assist. The front desk staff were unfriendly; we were made to wait half an hour for check-in. Meanwhile, local guests (Arabs) who arrived at the same time were given priority and checked in immediately. After waiting over 30 minutes without progress, we had to raise our voices and argue with the front desk, and suddenly, our room was ready in seconds. The lobby manager showed no ability to resolve the conflict, which frankly felt like severe discrimination against Asians. The hotel facilities are outdated. The elevator door on the third floor was constantly broken and unusable. Several members of my group experienced nightmares that night, which speaks volumes about the overall experience. The service is completely inconsistent with a five-star hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to fellow Chinese travelers."

"There is a beach entrance fee separate from the accommodation. The beach itself is very small. The beach staff are friendly. The room floor is not carpeted but tiled; the sound of sand on shoes against the floor is annoying and unsettling. The rooms have a side sea view, but this requires standing and looking out the window, as there are no side balconies to sit and enjoy the sea, and the view is not good. The breakfast is very basic, and the staff's performance is unacceptable."

"Wont recommend for the following reasons: Dirty bed sheets (yellowish white covers and pillows with yellow stains) Window glass buried in dirt. So sad since sea view is nice but you cannot enjoy because of the filthy windows. Plates and mugs at breakfast didn't look clean at all. Table sheets in restaurant were dirty, not ironed and with very clear tears in the cloth Only one elevator for 12 floors.. they claim its been like that for a week but other reviews show it been alot longer than that are commonly occuring Furniture old and run down.. Chair in room had food stains on it. Good points if you're still considering .. heating working in winter .. nice view if they cleaned the windows or you opened the window ..warm water in bathroom . Some restaurant staff trying hard to be helpful despite the chaos "
