Tenuta Mosè Charming House&Relais Gallipoli

"Let me start with the positives. Masseria Tenuta Mosé is an incredibly beautiful location. An old country house that has been completely renovated. Everything exudes class and charm. It is, therefore, not cheap. We paid €325 per night and stayed for 4 nights. For a service job, you are entitled to expect something. Unfortunately, not everything met expectations. - Although it was reasonably quiet in the hotel, we were given a room in an annex. A bit of a walk (dark in the evening). - The air conditioning didn't work the first night. After some complaining, that was fixed. - There was no shower head. - There was no coffee maker in the room. - We did not receive clean towels twice. We used the same towels for three days. - No towels at the pool. We had to go get them ourselves. - No seats on the chairs on the terrace by the room. - No new toilet paper twice. - No staff at the pool bar. These are all minor issues, but for the amount we paid, they are quite a lot. The restaurant is a bit stiff. Nice service, but very formal (dressed in black tailcoats). The menu was also uninspiring. The food was okay, but not great. Positive: As mentioned, an incredibly beautiful location. Breakfast is super. Beautiful pool and garden. I think it would be a beautiful wedding venue. Not something we would repeat."

"A very luxurious, clean palazzo. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very good and the staff (especially Salvatore - owner) is very helpful with tips on places to visit and especially to eat! We would recommend this hotel for everyone visiting the Salento area."

"I spent 3 nights at this accommodation and we enjoyed it. The outdoor space was just beautiful and well kept, with a very nice swimming pool and lots of space filled with nature and very well maintained. The rooms were very clean and spacious, which we also enjoyed, and the location was very good. Regarding breakfast, it was not as complete and delicious as I had expected it to be, and I was disappointed. For instance, the bread was not very good and didn’t feel like it was fresh, and there was no fresh juices or anything. Additionally, I was disappointed that towels for the pool and beach were not made available. However, all in all, we had a pleasant stay, but we expected more for the price paid."

The rooms and pool were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast served was simply perfect. Ms. Asya was so kind that she celebrated our daughter's birthday with a small cake and candles at breakfast, and thoughtful enough to leave a birthday gift in our room that evening. We were truly touched that she prepared breakfast for our baby and us in our room the night before so we wouldn't miss it due to our early flight. We cannot thank Ms. Asya enough for her smiling face and endless kindness. This has become our home in Italy. If you ever have the chance, choose this place without hesitation!"
