Alghero Vacanze Hotel ★★★
"Very well located. Close to the center. Good bedding but poor soundproofing; you can hear the shower noise from neighboring rooms and noise from other guests in the hallway. But overall, quite acceptable."
Hotel Domomea ★★★★
"Tutto ok+++"
The Smerald 2 ★★★
"We stayed in this room for one night, attracted by the hot tub. The room was comfortable and nice, and the hot tub functions were also good. The room was clean, a little small, but more than adequate for one night. The location is excellent; despite the busy street, the room was very quiet. The owners were very kind."
Piccolo Catalunya Hostel
"Excellent location, everything within walking distance: supermarkets, the promenade and the beach."
Smy Carlos V Wellness & Spa Alghero ★★★★★
"The sea view is really great. The sister at the front desk also helped us upgrade the room type for free. The pool view is also very pleasant. You can sunbathe on the lounge chairs all day. However, the pool is a little dirty. The restaurant tastes ok and the price is basically the same as that of local restaurants. It's just that the room facilities are a bit old. It doesn't look like a five-star hotel of this era. It may also be a common problem of southern European hotels."
Landlord ★★★
Villa Pedrosu
"The hotel is very clean, very well located, very close to chaos."
Green Sporting Club Hotel ★★★★
"It's incredible they can give it 4 stars. It's rundown and depressing. Not very clean. It needs urgent renovation. The decor is terrible, as is the location. It doesn't match its category. The rooms are very noisy. "A dump!""
Hotel Dei Pini ★★★★
"The beds are not very comfortable and the breakfast has very little variety for a 4* hotel. It was mentioned that it was a honeymoon and after having stayed at several hotels in Sardinia that demonstrated wonderful attention and care, nothing like that was noticed at the Hotel Dei Pini."

Hotel la Margherita & Spa
"Friendly staff. Excellent position"
El Faro Hotel & Spa
"We liked the stay.. It is a very nice property. The staff was very nice. Nothing to complaint about."
Hotel Riviera
"I found the staff very polite and helpful, air conditioning great and spotless.....found the place was noisy in the morning and night scraping chairs and could hear shower and toilet from next door. Near the beach which a part is used a dump for rubbish which caused a smell."
Hotel Calabona
"Good hotel, with a nice pool. Excellent free shuttle service to/from the center of Alghero, reachable with a walk along the seafront. Beach equipped with free umbrellas and sunbeds, but small and not very nice... We had a good time. Recommended."
Hotel San Marco
"As other reviews have mentioned the hotel is very clean and the location opposite the beach is excellent with plenty of restaurants around the area. However it is stuck in another era, we visited the hotel almost 20 years ago and it is exactly the same now, same furniture in the lobby and same breakfast every day. The staff were not very friendly and we were charged €25.00 for beach beds when other people paid €15.00 which is disgraceful to residents of the hotel. Very disappointing stay and we will not be returning"
Hotel Soleado
"The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the centre. The beach in front is not very nice, but the hotel as a base for visiting the area is not bad. It is a bit old and the 4 stars are not the same as in Spain. You have to imagine that you are going to a 3 star beach hotel. Very attentive."
Hotel Portoconte
"So far not a four star experience. Asked to book for dinner when we arrived. No we are full was the reply. Had a great meal at Il Galleone though. Last night the ambience was of a wedding. Nothing wrong with that but the wedding guests were clearly more important than we paying customers here for rather longer. Breakfast was embarrassing. No welcome. Good detritus over uncleared tables. No contact with staff other than one harassed girl who took us to a table, reversed the place name on it and whilst we were halfway through our meal another customer questioned why we were seated at their reserved table! I guess we won't be eating here again this week and Il Galleone will welcome us."
Alma di Alghero Hotel
"Was ok, but for parking you need ti ask and apply before. Otherwise you don't get it"
Hotel Corte Rosada
"The beach is not ideal, water is not directly accessible from the beach due to sea coral, one has to walk down the pier to get into the sea. The staff are very professional and wonderful, very happy with the service, good breakfast with plenty of verity. The rooms are very small, would have been nicer if they were slightly roomier. Pool service could also be improved, more verity, such as fruits etc. Evening drinks are nice with very good live music. Had dinner at the hotel once, food was good, service was a bit slow out of the kitchen."
Villa Las Tronas Hotel & Spa
"I honestly can’t believe anybody would say anything bad about this hotel. I travel quite a bit throughout Europe and this is one of my favorite hotels. You definitely feel like you’re living in the past when you step in. It’s kind of a magical hotel!! The furnishings are lovely and old and the floors are absolutely stunning with some sort of inlaid tile or something. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. I would like to give a shout out to Mario the bartender —he was pleasant and funny and always asking everyone if they were doing OK. He seemed to work a lot so it was nice to have a pleasant person around checking on us. We brought my daughter and her boyfriend and they were both blown away about how nice the hotel was. It’s an extremely short walk to town and if you can’t walk that far, you probably shouldn’t be traveling through Europe. The gym is huge, which is nice for me because I like to work out. Plenty of places to get exercise and walk along the beautiful waterfront. We didn’t eat at the hotel except for breakfast, but it was very good. We got two balcony rooms and I would say that was so Worth the extra money. Every night we sat outside and looked at the stars and listened to the ocean crashing and again it seemed like something in a dream and magical. And in another note, if you are American as we are— news flash!!—. We are not exactly Europe’s favorite tourists right now. I never felt any animosity at all at this hotel by the staff but one of the taxi drivers not associated with the hotel was rude to us. The employees here are all a class act. Thank you for your kindness!! I didn’t take any pictures of the resort itself just pictures with us in them so sorry for that but you can see how beautiful the view views are from these pictures. Enjoy."
Mesbeglia Luxury Rooms
"What can I say, top location, we stayed one night, welcome, relaxation, they are the masters, like Daniela the perfect hostess, seeing is believing....."
Hotel Sa Cheya Relais & Spa
"This is the second time we have used the facility and everything we found positive the first time was confirmed. The location is splendid, immersed in a green oasis. Great calm and tranquility. Super service. Breakfast is plentiful and of high quality. Fantastic pool."
Affittacamere Sardegna Sole e Mare
"A great place to stay. Lovely service. Room & bathroom very clean & comfortable. Very convenient location. The host Elizabetta is very kind & helpful. A lovely breakfast is included. Great coffee. Overall a great experience."
Hotel Angedras
"The room was clean and quiet, with a spacious twin bed (approximately 16 square meters). It's a 10-minute walk from the city center, and there's parking available on the street in front of the hotel. It's safe. There's also a balcony. Very affordable."
Hotel Villa Piras
"I appreciate the hotel's location close to the historic city center. Also, the staff is very polite (thumbs-up for Massimiliano), who showed us what to visit (beaches as well as bars/restaurants) and kindly offered us a beach umbrella to use during our stay."
Villa Barbarina - Nature Resort with Pool & Restaurant - Alghero
"Pros: - Beautiful location: quiet, cozy, relaxing. There is large olive tree garden and a lot of green area. Also the pool was very clean and not crowded. - The breakfast was good - the room was cleaned daily - large parking area - large bed and comfy Highly recommend. Cons: - in the shower there is only an wall fixed shower head. It was better if there was a mobile shower head also."
