Hotel Soleado
"The hotel was in a perfect location, facing the sea, and close to everything within walking distance, old town and all the beaches and restaurants and boat rentals and tours. The staff was super friendly and professional. Very welcoming even in the hotel restaurant. Very spacious room and balcony overlooking the sea. Only one thing was inconvenient the shower was very small. I would go back without a problem"

Dolce Vita Suite Alghero
"The location is fine, but you can't call a room like this, bathroom mattresses with dirty flushes missed pieces of decorations, written instructions with paper tape! A board I would change the name, it is not a suite but a very simple room and not even kept very well! "
Hotel Angedras
"Lovely clean refurbished room. Excellent stay! In a quiet area of Alghero."
Hotel Dei Pini
"The beds are not very comfortable and the breakfast has very little variety for a 4* hotel. It was mentioned that it was a honeymoon and after having stayed at several hotels in Sardinia that demonstrated wonderful attention and care, nothing like that was noticed at the Hotel Dei Pini."
Green Sporting Club Hotel
"It's incredible they can give it 4 stars. It's rundown and depressing. Not very clean. It needs urgent renovation. The decor is terrible, as is the location. It doesn't match its category. The rooms are very noisy. "A dump!""
Hotel Oasis
"We loved the hotel, it was located away from the town centre in a quiet area. 5 mins walk to the sandy beach. The buffet breakfast has lots of variety and they served really good Italian coffee! The room is spacious and clean."
Agriturismo Casale Degli Ulivi Alghero
"Our first time spending our holiday in an agriturismo and I think we started off very well. From the very beginning with a warm and friendly welcome all the way to our check-out and farewell, we were given great service over our 2-night stay. Good recommendations from the owner of where to visit and eat, although we could easily have just stayed all day by the pool. The accommodation was very well maintained and a lovely mix of modern and rural rustic. A great homemade breakfast to start the day which we had just outside our hotel room on a covered outdoor terrace. It’s also a c.20 minute drive from the centre of Alghero which looked a lovely a vibrant town. We will certainly be back next time we holiday in Sardinia."
Hotel Calabona
"Great hotel! Good food"
Hotel Corte Rosada
"Amazing vibe, would recommend to couples, nice and calm, perfect breakfast with stunning views"
Villa Las Tronas Hotel & Spa
"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Las Tronas. The hotel itself is beautiful, with amazing views and really nice indoor and outdoor pools. The pictures do not do it justice. the staff was so pleasant and helpful and really made the experience a great one. Paola, Aldo, and Ricardo especially went out of their way to make us feel welcome and helped us book a same day reservation at a Michelin star agroturismo restaurant. Overall, our stay was really memorable and we’d definitely love to come back."
Hotel Sa Cheya Relais & Spa
"We truly enjoyed our stay at Sa Cheya Relais. The helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff made our stay extremely pleasant. Whatever assistance we needed was provided immediately and always with a smile. But the best time of the day was undoubtedly breakfast. Helena and Manuela were superb. From preparing the fresh, healthy and wholesome meats, salads, cheeses, breads and drinks, to the fantastic homemade cakes, and then providing attentive and thoughtful service, always ensuring that we had everything we wanted. We were truly spoilt! The swimming pool with bar was perfect for relaxing, with plenty of space available for guests. We could swim at any time of the day. We ate in the restaurant more often than not, once again enjoying the very attentive staff and excellent food. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable stay."
Smy Carlos V Wellness & Spa Alghero
"The sea view is really great. The sister at the front desk also helped us upgrade the room type for free. The pool view is also very pleasant. You can sunbathe on the lounge chairs all day. However, the pool is a little dirty. The restaurant tastes ok and the price is basically the same as that of local restaurants. It's just that the room facilities are a bit old. It doesn't look like a five-star hotel of this era. It may also be a common problem of southern European hotels."
Casa Felicidad Alguer
San Francesco Heritage Hotel
"I booked this hotel for a weekend at the seaside, but aside from the unique location, housed in a cloister adjacent to the church of San Francesco, everything else was very sketchy. Check-in is at 4:00 PM, perhaps a little late, given that check-out is at 10:00 AM. However, they let us leave our bags and return in the afternoon. When I booked a superior room for extra comfort, I noticed a portable air conditioner (very noisy) with a hose leading to the balcony to cool the room. When I asked for an explanation, I was told that the fixed split unit hadn't worked for a while and they were waiting for replacements!!!! So, why was the room still given to me? The hose required the balcony to be left ajar, and as a result, the air conditioning was always on full blast, with all the associated noise, especially at night!!!! Needless to say, the request for a room change went unanswered. The TV in the room didn't work, nor did the entire first floor, as it was tied to the hotel's Wi-Fi network, which, listen, didn't work either. Breakfast, in the cloister, starting at 8:00 (slowly), was limited to a few frozen and poorly cooked croissants, the usual toast/cereals, and some fruit for the decor, perhaps with a Franciscan theme. The price (€200 per night for a double room) certainly isn't Franciscan, including the inconvenience! The only redeeming factor is the reception staff, who were always very friendly but lacked the resources to resolve the reported problems."
Bienestar - Maison de Charme
"Good hotel, comfortable services appropriate to the category, friendly staff"
Villa Barbarina - Nature Resort with Pool & Restaurant - Alghero
"Hi, let me explain, my experience was not that of spending a happy weekend with my better half, we would have liked it, if we didn't start off on the wrong foot. Going to contact the resort via Messenger messaging, to get information regarding the prices and the time to stay, except that I only obtained them via phone call to the resort since through the Messenger chat I was not informed of the prices and tariffs and coming to knowing that there was no room but the joke was that he was definitely blocked by whoever is behind everything related to the issue of reception, rooms, etc. etc. Only by making the phone call to the resort was the place free for the day I chose. How are you organized with your head I wonder? Via the chat you go to block the customer and by phone the job is quickly done if you don't want to be faced with a reception job, stay at home."
