El Aurassi ★★★★
"The hotel is a bit old, for example the plaster is coming off the ceiling on the terrace. The management needs to be changed, nobody feels responsible. The housekeeping was very good, tried very hard (I even gave them an extra tip). The staff in the terrace cafe were rather unwilling. The breakfast is definitely not up to the standards of a 5* hotel, old rolls (at least from the day before), old toast, little choice, rather uncaring, but the staff were extremely friendly and tried very hard. The food in general is borderline (room service). At reception I was snapped at by a male employee when I asked a question, that was borderline. The view over Alger is great, however (make sure you book a sea view). The service in the bar on the E floor is also poor, the selection of drinks minimal. The wine is undrinkable. Acceptable for business trips, but I wouldn't spend a vacation in this hotel. Regarding Algeria in general, I would like to say that the people are extremely hospitable and polite, the food (outside) in the restaurants (except for once) is very good and inexpensive, taxis are very cheap, they are just not luxury cars (reminds me of the early days in Dubai in the 90s). A tip for a day trip at the end: Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania, the restaurant next to the mausoleum has wonderful seafood from the charcoal grill."
Roza Hotel ★★★
"I got back to the room at 10pm and found the bathroom full of water on the floor. I asked to be moved to another room. The receptionist told me that if I changed rooms I would have to pay for the new room plus the first one :(. I ended up staying in the first room! Plus, he wasn't friendly at all, very cold. Both TV remote controls didn't work! Mold in the bathroom! Avoid it if possible. The rooms are not soundproofed."
New Day Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is well-located, clean, and the staff are very attentive 😃. Breakfast could be improved with a few more traditional dishes, and the pool is small but nice."
Hotel Best Night ★★★
"Perfect as usual, ideal location between city center and airport, top-notch services, professional and courteous staff"
Hôtel Ralf ★★★★
"Very convenient location"
Dar El Ikram Hotel ★★★
"Excellent hotel, well located, warm and welcoming staff with a very family-friendly atmosphere"
Marhaba Casbah
"Superb location at the foot of the Kasbah, right next to the Ketchaoua Mosque. Krimo and Ahmed (who speak fluent French) welcome you with great professionalism and kindness. A big thank you to the entire hotel team."
City Hotel Alger ★★★
"The hotel is in a great location, close to two metro stops. A commercial and very busy street. The hotel staff is very helpful and courteous. The rooms are clean and simple. The breakfast room is comfortable even for a stop during the day"
Hôtel Sidi Yahia ★★★★
"Hello, Very friendly and helpful staff. Varied and high-quality breakfast buffet. The only downside: public transportation (tram and metro) is too far away; taxis are required."

Résidence Touristique Marcadal
"Convenient location, large and clean rooms and great breakfast. But the best thing is the service. The owner and his team were always trying their best to make us feel at home. Extremely generous and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel!"
Mercure Alger Palais des Congres
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at Mercure Palais des Congrès Ain Benian was truly an exceptional experience from beginning to end. The hotel is outstanding in terms of cleanliness, comfort, organization, and the overall quality of service. Everything reflects a high level of professionalism and genuine care for guests. I would like to express my deepest appreciation and sincere gratitude to an outstanding member of the restaurant team — Maryam. She is not just a staff member doing her job; she is a true symbol of hospitality. Her elegant manners, calm presence, constant warm smile, and genuine kindness create a very special and comforting atmosphere for every guest. What makes Maryam truly exceptional is that her service comes from true character, not just training. She makes guests feel welcomed, respected, and valued in a natural and effortless way. Her attention to detail and positive energy leave a lasting impression that stays with you long after the visit. I can confidently say that Maryam was one of the highlights of my entire stay, and a major reason behind my excellent impression of this hotel. Employees like her do not just represent the hotel — they elevate it. I strongly encourage the hotel management to recognize and appreciate Maryam for her remarkable dedication and outstanding service. She truly deserves special recognition. Thank you for a truly memorable and beautiful stay."

Hotel Ikram El Dhayf
"Magnificent view of the Bay of Algiers! The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a few minor imperfections in the bathroom. The breakfast is nice, although very sweet (lots of cookies). The staff is attentive and helpful. Be careful, taxis don't always find it (call the hotel)."
Hotel Suisse
"Location is excellent. Hotel itself has seen better days. Not as nice as photos. Rooms feel very run down. Also much much cheaper to pay cash / local currency than pre-book (almost 40%)."
AZ Hotel Vague D’or
"We stayed at Az Hotel Palm beach , and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The room was not clean, and even after calling for housekeeping, the issue was not resolved properly. The cleaner did not knock before entering the room, despite our "Do Not Disturb" sign, and often arrived very early in the morning. Additionally, the hotel does not provide any beach chairs or tables; guests are required to pay extra for these amenities, which was very disappointing. Overall, this experience was subpar and did not meet the standards expected of a 4-star hotel. I would rate it as 1 star based on my experience."
Safir Mazafran
"This hotel was absolutely horrible experience. The elevators looked like people had vomited in them. The room was dirty, with cockroaches having fun everywhere. The bathroom was just disgusting, full of mold, and it took forever for the hot water to start. The towels had suspicious colors, and the food was a complete disaster. Breakfast was poor and barely edible. Honestly, I could keep going for hours about how bad this place is. Avoid it at all costs!"
