Amazing stay

Old and run down in the middle of nowhere with no scenery around, but a wire fence giving you a nice prison atmosphere. Non existent service.

It was a family staycation & am glad I chose Taj. Few disappointments while booking through app but the reservation staff at Taj Alibaug closed the same smoothly. Special thanks to Jignesh. The hotel experience was also very good, ambience, play area for kids, room cleanliness, staff courtesy everything was very good. Only problem was the rooms were not prepared properly, all amenities were not in place & breakfast variety compare to other Taj properties were not elaborate. No departure fond memories were shared which we always receive at other Taj hotels. But would definitely visit again.

Before I get into the surprisingly lower level of experience at a Taj, some positives: property is huge, eco friendly, have rabbits, ducks, fish etc for the kids to play with, spacious rooms and a big play room. Now the points where it lacked massively: 1. The staff lacks basic hospitality, rarely would greet or even notice you. 2. Water Crisis , yes you read it right, no water fo half a day. I understand it could be a tech fault but no one bothered to communicate until we enquired. 3. Lift not working for a full day, again no information and made to climb 2 floors with the kids 4. No welcome drink or garland until I asked for it (my kids saw other guests and wanted it) Overall, an experience I would like to forget. So unlike Taj. The GM of the hotel came to apologise and was supposed to send me his number on WhatsApp but total radio silence. They need some real work before they can charge what they charged me in tariff.

Yes, this resort is truly a 10/10 destination for both Corporate and Wedding Events. I recently managed a week-long corporate event here, and it turned out to be a tremendous success. We were highly impressed with the hotel’s services and the level of cooperation extended by the entire team in taking care of every minute detail. Despite having a very short turnaround time, the event was executed flawlessly. Our clients were extremely happy — not even for a single day did they feel bored during their 7-day stay, which truly speaks volumes about the experience and engagement the property offers. This event was a huge success for us as well, and we’re genuinely thankful to the entire team. I would strongly recommend more corporates and wedding groups to consider this property for their events — it’s worth every bit of appreciation! I would also like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to a few individuals who made this experience seamless and stress-free for me: Ms. Shreya Rathod from the National Sales Team of Taj, Mr. Gaurav Kodgir from Sales for his smooth coordination and support during the contracting process and to be present for our event specially, Mr. Rahul Gogia, who was present throughout the event and helped us with every operational requirement — his never-say-no attitude made a huge difference and we all are so glad about it. Special thanks also to: Mr. Vijay, Mr. Lalit, and Mr. Chandrakant from the Front Office team, who managed continuous check-ins and check-outs over seven days with such efficiency and professionalism. The Banquet and F&B team, especially Mr. Durga Mohanty, who coordinated everything so smoothly and was extremely flexible with our requests and last-minute changes. Also, a big thank you to Mr. Rajneesh, Mr. Jatin, and Mr. Girish for handling our daily food and bar operations so flawlessly. We also had an excellent sports activity session in the Turf area, and a special thanks to Mr. Shrikant for ensuring timely arrangements. Last but definitely not least, the entire Taj Alibaug team deserves immense appreciation for their hospitality, dedication, and excellence in service. It was an absolute pleasure working with everyone, and I truly look forward to planning and executing many more successful events at this property in the future!
