Friendly staff, video CDs available for those who are bored during the night as there are concerns of safety for those out in the streets at night.

The hostel was close to the bus stop and town which was really handy. The facilities were good and seemed clean. It’s a shame reception isn’t open for longer to be able to ask staff any questions.

A decent and organized hostel with clean bed sheets and kitchen with large fridges to store food and cooking. The bathrooms were clean and had hot water for good showers.

Unfortunately, the staff forgot my swipe card so I needed to call them and they came within 10 minutes to give me my card (as I was checking in late). My luggage was kept safely and waiting for me next to my room. Only two others were in the room that night so it was good value for money. The kitchen was slightly cleaner this time round. I'd happily stay here again if I visit the Outback/Alice Springs. Thank you. 🙏

It feels quite clean for a youth hostel. I went there outside the peak tourist season. The public bathrooms are nice and clean with plenty of water. The public kitchens are fully stocked with pots and pans, there are many refrigerators and the location is also very good.

The front desk staff was very friendly. It happened to be my birthday the next day when I checked in. They also bought me a bottle of drink and free towels. The room was large and clean overall, but there were no shelves in the shower space to put clothes. It would be better to bring a plastic bag with you.

Having never been a backpacker or stayed in a hostel before, I was a bit dubious about staying here. I therefore can't compare it to any others. I stayed in a 4 bed room for 2 nights before a tour and 1 night after. The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. The shower block was clean and the hostel had a small pool as well as a kitchen and tv room. I found that one of the benefits of staying in a hostel is the people you meet, allbeit through necessity if sharing a room with them. On my first 2 nights I had excellent room mates which made it worthwhile. However the opposite can also be the case. On my return night I was placed in a room with a man who obviously resented the intrusion of another person, stating that I was sharing `his' room and would I please place my boots outside in case they stank. Had I met him on the first two nights I may not have returned after my tour, but I guess that's the risk you take. The hostel is in an excellent location, 1 block from Todd Mall and the Alice Plaza, and adjacent to the bus stop for tours and airport transfer. I can't speak highly enough of the reception staff, 2 girls and a guy whose names I didn't get.
