We found this hotel to be good value for money. I think people who posted negative reviews forgot that they booked the cheapest option. You get what you pay for! It’s also Greece and accommodation is always more basic than Spain Turkey etc Positives - Great views over the mountains. Very clean rooms, cleaned daily. Nice pool area, no rush for sunbeds. Relaxed vibe. Good quality food and drinks. For the money we paid, it had everything we needed. Negatives - We didn’t mind the walk but it’s on the edge of town and our child got a bit fed up by the end. Wayyy too much chlorine used, everyone was rubbing their eyes. Pushing for cash on arrival for air con and tax, not everyone has cash out yet, maybe be more flexible with card.

Just back after a fabulous 2 week stay in Plessas Palace ,first time in Alykanas and will definitely be back ,can’t praise the friendly and accommodating staff enough ,made our stay so enjoyable ,lovely pool area in a beautiful setting ,close to all the bars and restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to beach ,great hotel bar with Greek night ,quiz night,bingo night and the all important pool table which kept our son occupied ,will order transport if needed for you for airport transfer or visit to Zante town etc look forward to returning in the future

The hotel really isn’t all that. We paid to stay at plessas but they legit put us in a random building across the road, the walk to breakfast we had to cross a main road, the building we were in the locks were so hard to operate, the wifi doesn’t work at all. the towels had weird stains on them. As well as this the breakfast tables were never clear in the morning there would be plates everywhere. The service isn’t very good the woman is a bit miserable… but the worst bit is the fact they put you in a random building across the street. I feel the review would be good if they actually put us in the hotel they advertise

Rated 3 Stars by TUI. When you see other 3 Star hotels in the same location you have to question it The difference with Plessas Palace is the price. She is run down and needs updating badly. Positives. Staff lovely and friendly and will assist where they can. The bar staff, very friendly but take their time to attend you. The food is mind-blowing (excellent chef) not one bad meal during my stay. Negatives. Room, aircon was non-functional having paid 10 euros per day so never had a decent sleep in my time there. Shower-room very small and the drains smell. Kitchen was very basic with little or no cooking equipment. Kettle had no cut-off. Many reviews on here have already highlighted my points, however I will be returning next year because the positives outweigh the negatives. The Greek people are such a wonderful race, laid back and so friendly.

Bar/restaurant/pool area and staff were incredible. I could not rate these highly enough. The welcome was good and very informative. However the rooms were not to the same standard. We had broken toilet seat....broken air conditioning...loo door did not shut...kettle broken...not enough cutlery plates etc and cutlery was rusty. Fridge shelves were broken. Mattress was uncomfy.You could not really self cater with the equipment provided. It seemed clean and tidy enough however dated. The biggest factor was water did not get above Luke warm and no real pressure...it was hot so not a huge problem. This did not affect our enjoyment and we had a great time as you spend much of it out of the room...but the room was the only thing that would make us not return. Location was fabulous...resort was lush

is a fairly good hotel for families. it is quiet and family run and I have been many times. only complaint is lack of storage if youre staying a while (in my case 2 weeks), doors needed fixed and some lights went out but perfect other than that!

The best thing about this hotel were the lovely family who run it. Niko,Miri,Kristian nothing was too much trouble for them. The sun loungers were very comfortable and a lovely pool. I would definitely return.
