NAKAI Alimathà Resort

This is pure luxury, the island is small and can be walked round in 10 mins. Very friendly staff Has an on site watersports and scuba diving centre which offers recreational diving and also certified courses. The evening entertainment is ok and the quizzes are fun. But apart from volleyball, table tennis and a small billiards table (which had broken cues) there isn't much to do on the island apart from drink, eat and relax. The buffet restaurant is not 5 star dining but the food is plentiful and the views are stunning. There is a second restaurant on the jetty, you can pre book evening meal for an extra charge. Breakfast can be had here for no extra charge and we got to see some dolphins! The room (water villa) was exceptional a huge bed, with doors leading out onto our own sun lounge veranda with steps down into the sea, if you are lucky you get to see some of the marine life swimming past like the beautiful nurse sharks! Be careful if you are purchasing any extras, there is an additional tax that needs to be paid. We had a fantastic stay and would love to go back

I have been at Bravo Alimatha in March with my family. Fabulous place with amazing staff. Food is very good and well cooked. Guys at reception are very helpful. Iresha with her kindness and professionalism followed us in our stay with our doughier. She has been awesome all the time. Place to visit and stay for sure.

What a beautiful island! Pronounced ‘a le mata’. The wildlife is like nothing I’ve seen before, stunning white sand and beautiful palm trees. We stayed in the over water villa number 531. I would recommend this to anyone! It’s straight off the beach and a family of black tip sharks liked to swim around the deck. The staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful. Shout out to Gawas in the main bar and Sumon in the restaurant. Huge nod to Patrick in reception and found all over the resort helping people have the best possible stay. He was great with us and we wish him every success in the future. Things I feel you should know before coming. The speed boat transfer was hideously delayed and then a terrible journey due to the weather, unavoidable but if you are able to afford the sea plane do it! There are no diet drinks in resort apart from Coke Zero in the restaurant. There is a lovely cocktail list included in all Inc and I enjoyed it! The resort is a family resort so don’t be surprised there are children, lots of them! The WiFi is chargeable and not cheap but was fairly good. I would 100% come back with my kids… if we win the lottery! Have a wonderful time in the barefoot paradise!

Exceptional location for all sort of aquatic sports and more. Great customer service from all room and restaurant services. Recomend seaplane to reach the atoll.. negative notes: food is average facilities are becoming a bit dated. Italian Ladies working in the admin area are a bit rough around the edges

After travelling for over 20 hours , we finally arrived for 7 nights of pure relaxation, no watch, no Wi-Fi and.. the only people that spoke English was the staff! . Staying in a beach hut just yards from the sea,life can’t getting any better. Firstly the accommodation was first class, with two visits a day from our house keeper and one of the days spending 1 1/2 hours doing a fantastic flower and leaf arrangement. Staff throughout the resort, we’re very friendly , always having the time to engage in conversation and being the only English on the island, their interests in cricket was plain to see. Meal times was always enjoyable, with plenty of selection from Italian and Indian persuasion. Only negatives , from our point of view , difficult to know what drinks were not on the all inclusive package , it appeared gin and beer in certain bars were chargeable , finally all evening entertainment was for Italian guest only!. Now back home, but wishing we were back on this little Island in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

Beautiful clean island 1.5 hours by boat from the airport. -The room is large, well-maintained, a little old furniture. Cleaned daily, or even 2 times. -tasty food - Italian and Indian cuisine, a large selection of snacks, hot dishes and desserts, fruits. You won't stay hungry. Of the minuses, there are few fish (as a rule, 1 type - steamed and grilled). The bar has a good selection of cocktails. - Service: the staff is polite and smiling, very friendly! The exception is the animator girl (chubby blonde, forgot her name) - clearly suffers from Russophobia:) She never greeted us demonstratively (yes, we are Russians, and we understand what time we live, but she needs to distinguish between work and personal attitude to another nation), the rest of the animators were very nice. Of the minuses: - the room is for two people, so if you are a family of three, then you will get 2 sun beds. No matter how you ask, they won't give you a third. - animation is only in Italian, they don't even repeat it in English, so no need in evening shows.
