"Overall, the stay was decent. The location is quiet and close to the seaside, with supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes all within walking distance. I especially enjoyed the amazing shrimp tempura at the nearby restaurant Mera—highly recommended! However, the hotel offers very limited amenities. There were no toothbrushes, umbrellas, or slippers provided—not even upon request. I found it especially puzzling that slippers weren’t available. The floors were freezing, and with no place nearby to buy disposable ones, it really affected my comfort. Most travelers don’t pack slippers for this kind of weather, and having to walk barefoot on cold floors significantly impacted my experience. I truly hope the hotel considers this feedback. It’s a small change, but it could make a big difference in guest comfort."

"There are not many rooms in the hotel, but each one is very clean. The room size is acceptable. You can see part of the sea view standing on the balcony. The hotel has free WIFI with fast speed. The overall feeling is pretty good."

"We stayed here for the last night of our Greece holiday, as we had a late flight the following day and wanted to be able to park our rental car safely and spend the day on the beach. The hotel is in a nice residential area, has off-road parking, is a five-minute walk from a private city beach and is very close to several very good restaurants (our favourite being Emagie). The staff were extremely accommodating and pleasant and let us leave our car there, after checkout, until later in the day when we left for the airport. Our family room was spacious, clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable. The rooms and corridors could certainly do with some updating, especially the floors but the lobby area, bar and dining room have been refurbished and look good. The buffet breakfast was good and as you'd expect it, though some figs on our last day would have made it perfect :)"

"The hotel is located directly on the coastal road in Alimos, with beautiful views of the sea. Although a busy road separates the hotel from the beach, the good public transport connections made it easy to reach both central Athens and the surrounding area. The room was clean and well-equipped, with a small balcony from which I could enjoy the sunset over the sea. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options. The Tropical Hotel is a good choice for travelers looking for accommodation near the sea with good transport links."

"The room is simple, adequate, spacious, with kitchen and living room, Samsung level. The location is right by the sea, crossing the road is the 6th, the 7th tram, it is very convenient to go to the pier, the beach and the ancient city. The end of the tram No. 6 is Constitution Square. You can walk to various attractions. You can go to the airport and transfer to the subway in Constitution Square."

"The location is very good near the sea. The service staff are also very friendly. There is a small balcony. The breakfast is a very authentic Greek breakfast. There are not many choices but the taste is quite good. It is a satisfactory experience."
