Hotel Allinge

The staff were friendly, pleasantly offered recommendations when needed. The room was VERY clean, which was appreciated, and the breakfast was good, and had a lot of options. Be aware, if you have an issue with stairs, ask for a first level room when booking as there is no elevator. I definately would stay there again if on Bornholm.

Our family of three stayed two nights at Hotel Allinge. Without a car it was difficult to reach because of infrequent bus services from the ferry in Rönne. In the end we took a taxi with a most affable and informative driver. We naturally assumed all Bornholmers would be equally helpful. Not so. The hotel was a great place to stay. Warm wonderful room and sumptuous breakfast with great coffee; from a machine but still good. We walked about 15km each day. The two different men at hotel reception were friendly and helpful however the woman overseeing the breakfast room each morning seemed terse and unwelcoming. We felt we were under constant surveillance. We did manage to get a bus back to the ferry but found out we were oversold bus tickets so were out of pocket. Although the island of Bornholm is majestically beautiful, it’s not so much a place for international tourists who appreciate being able to find a coffee at the tourist destination or even just a friendly face. Whether or not we’d go back, the jury is out

Beautiful location, nice rooms and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

Nice little Pearl in Allinge

Stayed here for two nights as we were having a roadtrip around the island. The room was simple but good but had a couple of minor things that would need some attention: one of the bedsides had no table as the wall mount was broken off but they had temporarily put a small table there instead. The bathroom door did not open all the way because the toilet seat was in the way and the shower cabin doors didn't fully seal when closet so water leaked out on the floor when showering. Minor stuff but knocks off a few points in the overall review. Our room had the entrance close to the the reception and restaurant with outdoor seating space just outside but we didn't experience any sort of disturbance with people passing by or making any noice. The staff were nice and helpful on arrival. Plenty of free parking spaces on the back but a bit limited on the front. The breakfast was very good with and well assorted.
