A really lovely hotel with very friendly staff. The room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. Dinner was delivered in a relaxed manner and the dining staff were polite and attentive. The bar area was comfortable and the bar staff helpful; particularly David the Night Porter. Breakfast was very enjoyable and once again the serving staff were friendly and attentive. The staff in reception were also very friendly and very helpful regarding the local attractions e.g. Burns Cottage and the Burns Museum.

Myself and my Husband visited here tonight for our 43rd wedding anniversary ( we got married here when it was the Burns Monument Hotel). What an amazing venue it is now. From the minute we entered the front door till we left was an outstanding experience. The receptionist gave us a very warm welcome. She also showed us what’s being done to the hotel to make the wedding venue even more stunning than it is already. We were shown to our table in the dining room and served drinks straight away. Every member of staff were first class. Our food was excellent. Can’t recommend this hotel enough. David the Manager stood and blethered away to us as did all of his staff. They were all a credit to RAD. Look forward to our next visit. Many thanks to all staff

Fabulous stay in the Brigadoon Hotel. Adele on reception was very welcoming and efficient. The hotel is full of character and charm. Our room was stunning with a super comfy bed, large tv, fridge, jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Nice touch was the Nespresso coffee machine. The restaurant was small, cosy, homely and Aimee our server was a delight. She was friendly and very passionate about the Brigadoon and other hotels within the group. The service and food were exceptional. We enjoyed the bar, outside terrace and beautiful gardens and grounds overlooking the bridge and river. This was a great overnight stay and treat for my wife’s birthday. Would definitely return.

Arrived to stop off and see history of Robert Burns and decided to stay for a pot of tea and to enjoy the wonderful decor and what a winter wonderland it was , still with Christmas decorations as it was only Just the first day of the new year 2024, we had a lovely look around and enjoyed the splendour and a little touch of history to boot, well worth a visit.

My fiance and myself stayed October for a night. We had dinner which was average at best. We finished and went to room to relax!!! Around 1am the door was opened and the night porter came in room. I quickly told him to leave but again he tried to enter. My fiancé and myself felt so vulnerable we unable to sleep and our night was ruined. When we complained next morning we were actually told that the night porter was a bit strange!!! Again that’s not normal. I was told we would receive an email or a call but nothing!!! Today we had Xmas dinner as already booked we had to ask for drinks we were promised. We recieved cold tea and coffee which had to be sent back. The food in Wetherspoons would have been better. The manager who dealt with our first problem couldn’t even be arsed to come see us. I will never be back it’s shocking!!!!

We had dinner here the other night & to be honest both of us were massively disappointed. In fairness it has been a while since we have been here, but usually always had a good night when we were here before. I had lasagne, which appeared to mainly be sauce & lots of melted cheese, it seemed to lack mince or pasta. There seemed to be very little substance to it. My husband’s chicken was slightly better. We both had the whisky infused crème brulee, which to be honest tasted of nothing at all & was just incredibly bland, seemed to be no flavour at all. I can’t see us going back if these are the standards.

While visiting friends in Glasgow we drove down to see Culzean Castle. We decided to stop for lunch at Brig O Doon and boy are we glad we did. The atmosphere was amazing. The food was so good, best lunch we had on the trip and the desserts, OMG! After we explored the grounds, seriously a place not to be missed!
