Suitable for golfing, just 200 meters next to the QDL, the sunset suite is directly facing the golf course, and the view is good, you need a room on the second floor. The service staff are very enthusiastic and meet various needs from car rental, club rental, fixed course, restaurant and so on. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the beach, and the hotel also has bicycles. Breakfast was good. The only thing is that it is relatively close to the airway, and opening the window during the day will be noisy

The Conrad Hotel at Quinta Do Lago is without question the best first class five star hotel in the immediate area. There are a few competing hotels but this one is tops them all. The hotel is beautifully laid out. You enter through a full height atrium reception area which is extremely bright and provides a connection a link block to the hotel as a whole. If you walk out at the same level there is a terrace linking it to its Michelin star restaurant Gusto (reviewed elsewhere on Tripadvisor) and the hotel bar which overlooks the adult swimming pool which in itself is a beautiful environment. A great place for a drink and to watch the beautiful sunset. The hotel has a second restaurant Louro which is accessed via the entrance atrium (one level down) and which offers both internal and external tables overlooking a nice setting. They also now have a sushi station. In addition to the adult pool there is a very large second pool for families and a kids club all of which I am told I highly rated (not that I have used them). The whole setting and the environment of the hotel has matured beautifully over the past few years and creates a really attractive setting. All of the rooms are extremely spacious and very well fitted. 50% have poolside views with the remainder looking over the landscaping and views around the locality. The individual rooms are very attractive with a large fully fitted and spacious bathrooms and significant dressing areas. All of this is supported by some excellent staff. Checking is very professional and well organised. Breakfast which can always be a test for any hotel is again will organise, with ample seating (inside and out) and a wide variety of food products to choose from. Breakfast at this hotel is excellent and the staff are very proactive. Finally sitting around the pool is an absolute pleasure. It is well managed, there are ample staff available to meet your needs with a nice poolside menu, including sushi and you really want for anything in terms of help and assistance. You will never be short of a poolside drink In conclusion this hotel meets all of your expectations, for the style and star rating it has. It is extremely well managed and the senior personnel are accessible should you need or wish to speak to them? We have now stayed there three or four times and will be returning again this year and I’m sure it will be on the agenda for 2025.

Checked in to ria park as a last minute booking following a nightmare end of our holiday (in a local apartment) where my youngest son and I were unable to go home as planned with the rest of our family. We had stayed a night before we arrived at Ria park in another local 5 star hotel and had a terrible experience there. From the moment we walked in to the ria park we were made to feel so safe and welcome. The room we were given was perfect, we ordered room service and it was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is so clean. We received a lovely welcome tray with some treats for my son and fresh fruit and waters. The air con was perfect, great tea and coffee facilities. Maid service so efficient. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool but was clean and lovely, lots of loungers available. We were able to get a late check out which I was extremely grateful for after a difficult week and an evening flight. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of offer and we ate lunch at the pool bar. Brilliant selection, I was particularly impressed as I was able to get a vegetarian soja bolognaise. It’s in a great location for lovely restaurants and days out. I’m so pleased we stumbled across this hotel and will be booking to stay here next year. A special mention to Marta on reception. The was just the most kind and lovely person. So helpful. Thank you!

Did not eat breakfast, this is a big resort, the hotel rooms are also very big, the surrounding environment is very good. The service staff is also very good, and there is free parking.

This place has friendly, helpful staff, a great breakfast choice, is clean and the apartments are spacious. It is a little too far to walk to the nearest beach but it has a well-kept swimming pool and it is within walking distance to some fabulous restaurants and should be more than 2 star rated!
