The Oaks Hotel
"Had dinner here and really enjoyed the experience. The place was very busy so be sure to book if you want a table in the restaurant. Staff were friendly and attentive. Good choice on the menu and the prices were very reasonable. Foof is nicely cooked and the dishes are generous. Will certainly be back."
Bailiffgate Hotel
"Great little hotel ,but didn't like the way service charge was added to bar bill ...making drinks very expensive"
Alnwick Lodge
"Really enjoyed my first stay. Staff were very pleasent. Breakfast was pleantiful and well presented. You must have your own transport as there were no buses. There's too much of a long walk into Alnwick by the A1 mortorway. That's not very pleasent or safe. The only issue I had was with the awlful television (It certainly needs updating) in the Cart Shed accommodation. The hand controller was useless."
Schooner Hotel
"As a regular traveller and user of many types of hotel and / or hotel / BnB I must say that The standard of decor and cleanliness was the worst I have encountered. Wallpaper was hanging off / earth wires in the bathroom were exposed. Towels were dirty with rust on them. All the walls were marked / dirty or chipped. The bedroom carpet in room 30 was SO dirty we could smell the dust. Bedroom lights did not work. Halls and stairs were dirty with wallpaper hanging loose and dirty. Stair carpets were so dirty they smelt. Stud walls were hanging loose. All ceilings had dirty marks… I could go on and on and only hope that this review initiates improvements or prevents others from booking. We did not eat here due to the poor first impressions however the staff seemed happy and welcoming."
The Hog's Head Inn - the Inn Collection Group
"Family friendliness, good hotel and good restaurant👍👍"
Premier Inn Alnwick
"A superb location, ideal to explore Alnwick, Bamborough, Holy Island and Cragside. ( Which is why we stayed). Very friendly and helpful, there were alot of families there at the time, so it felt warm and welcoming. The room was what you expect, initially spotless, but midweek cleaning wasnt really very good. The approach to hotel was abit odd, it had tbe appearance of a run down industrial estate, but dont let that put you off using the hotel."
The Dirty Bottles Inn
"Really friendly at hotel and nice setting x"
The Plough
"Arrived late afternoon and hungry. The manager recommended the pork belly Sunday roast and I was not disappointed 😍 room was good for the price. Bed very comfy and easy access to car when I needed to unpack later after arrival and dinner. Car park entrance is a great challenge for all drivers which I passed. Thank you for the hospitality"
White Swan Hotel
"Great value for money. Lovely old fashioned hotel. Only slight downside was the room was so hot but we were only there one night so I didn’t raise this with the staff. Breakfast was good and staff all great."

The Whittling House
"The hotel is located in a seaside town and within 10 minutes walk to the beach. A superb hotel or can be understood as a homestay: downstairs is a restaurant, dinner is eaten at his house, it tastes good; there are 7 rooms upstairs, the layout is very comfortable, especially like the linen carpet of his house. It is worth staying!"
The Dunstanburgh Castle Hotel
"We loved this place and the sweet village Very dog friendly, and the staff were delightful."
Castle Gate
"Great hospitality, superb location. Friendly greeting, helpful and knowledgeable about local pubs etc. immaculately clean room, mini bar fridge useful for us ! A parking spot outside as well as a public spot opposite. Alnwick Xmas light show was amazing, warkworth castle and morpeth for a day out. We really enjoyed our Xmas break, very happy and would stay again! Excellent value."
