The Hog's Head Inn - the Inn Collection Group ★★★★
"Family friendliness, good hotel and good restaurant👍👍"
Bailiffgate Hotel ★★★★★
"Great little hotel ,but didn't like the way service charge was added to bar bill ...making drinks very expensive"
Premier Inn Alnwick ★★★
"very well placed hotel being near town. Room spacious and well presented. Very clean and comfy. Staff were all pleasant and helpful but a special shout out to Karen who was at the small desk in the foyer. She couldn't have done anything more for us, didn't matter what we asked. Couldn't get a table for evening meal as very busy but she went out of her way to suggest nearby places. She deserves a gold star for customer service!"
White Swan Hotel ★★★
"Great value for money. Lovely old fashioned hotel. Only slight downside was the room was so hot but we were only there one night so I didn’t raise this with the staff. Breakfast was good and staff all great."
Rock Moor House B&B ★★★★
"We stayed at Rock Moor House on New Years Eve as we had a wedding locally and had a wonderful stay. They were so flexible with all our timings and we especially loved the delicious breakfast. Carolyn was especially kind in posting an item to me that I had accidentally left behind - she was so communicative and helpful. We would definitely recommend!"
The Garden Rooms ★★★★
"Had a lovely night spent in one of the garden rooms. Room clean and a great shower. Spent the night outside with the chimnea. Fantastic value for money"
Alnwick Lodge ★★★
"Really enjoyed my first stay. Staff were very pleasent. Breakfast was pleantiful and well presented. You must have your own transport as there were no buses. There's too much of a long walk into Alnwick by the A1 mortorway. That's not very pleasent or safe. The only issue I had was with the awlful television (It certainly needs updating) in the Cart Shed accommodation. The hand controller was useless."
Schooner Hotel ★★★
"As a regular traveller and user of many types of hotel and / or hotel / BnB I must say that The standard of decor and cleanliness was the worst I have encountered. Wallpaper was hanging off / earth wires in the bathroom were exposed. Towels were dirty with rust on them. All the walls were marked / dirty or chipped. The bedroom carpet in room 30 was SO dirty we could smell the dust. Bedroom lights did not work. Halls and stairs were dirty with wallpaper hanging loose and dirty. Stair carpets were so dirty they smelt. Stud walls were hanging loose. All ceilings had dirty marks… I could go on and on and only hope that this review initiates improvements or prevents others from booking. We did not eat here due to the poor first impressions however the staff seemed happy and welcoming."
The Tavern - Steakhouse and Lodge ★★★
"Central location twin beds shower cubicle basic but clean and the price was reasonable"

The Plough
"Arrived late afternoon and hungry. The manager recommended the pork belly Sunday roast and I was not disappointed 😍 room was good for the price. Bed very comfy and easy access to car when I needed to unpack later after arrival and dinner. Car park entrance is a great challenge for all drivers which I passed. Thank you for the hospitality"
The Whittling House
"The hotel is located in a seaside town and within 10 minutes walk to the beach. A superb hotel or can be understood as a homestay: downstairs is a restaurant, dinner is eaten at his house, it tastes good; there are 7 rooms upstairs, the layout is very comfortable, especially like the linen carpet of his house. It is worth staying!"
The Shepherd's Rest
"Service with a smile 😃 very friendly and helpful absolutely lovely Sunday Lunch and pudding Beautiful 🤩 old fashioned gravy loved it x"
The Cookie Jar
"The hotel is in a small town, a minute's walk from the attractions we want to visit. It's just that we checked in a little late and it didn't match the room I booked. The room was very small. It can be said that there was no room to put my feet after spreading the suitcases. But the service is still very good. Unlike the booked room type, an extra bed is provided for free. Breakfast was great, typical British atmosphere"
Castle Gate
"Jo, the owner was super friendly and very accommodating. The location could not have been in a better spot for entry to Alnwick castle, Alnwick gardens and public transport was literally on the doorstep. The family room was perfect for us, lovely decor, clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Jo was very helpful with her knowledge of local places to eat and drink We will definitely return."
