Please don't waste your time to even think about this hotel as a choice to stay. It has the worst ever facilities and it's worth to be demolished now. Arriving at the scene, the main lobby looks so worn out, as if it just opened after a few years closed down. The reception seems to be friendly, but no clear information is provided unless it is asked ! The lady was just trying to avoid any conversation. The bellman/caddy was very friendly and helpful, courteous enough to explain the surroundings while driving us to the villa, we booked 2 villas( three bedroom & 2 bedroom ) which were allocated nearby. Arriving at the scene of the villa, it's was a total disaster !! 1) The room was infested with so much of black ants which was crawling on the beds and toilet bowl. 2) The bedsheets and pillow case had foul smells as if the room was made up months ago and not inspected till someone checks in. 3) Just imagine, finding a baby scorpion in the bathtub area crawling around! Yes !! its was a scorpion in the bathroom 4) Heavy grouting works needed in the bathroom and there were so many lizards dropping around. Understand, this is a resort, but doesn't mean the rooms are left behind to rot and insects crawling around. The stairs of the villa are so dangerous, which is a safety hazard. No lights on till it gets very dark, the timer needs to be adjusted or put a switch, the guest can switch it on by themselves. The stairs carpet edge has worn out and carpets are dirty. The rooms TV is so old fashioned, which i believe the anttena has broken. Please check our villa tv and fix it. I believe other villa has bigger TV's compare to us. As we were walking by, we could see oth villa rooms had larger tv then us. The hotel has a gym which will be opened upon request, dont dare to go in, with the creepy over grown dirty area. The swimming pool is the only place for an activity in the resort, although the pool is big, it is also the biggest potential hazardous area. The pool is surrounded by sharp edged stones which caused a heavy bleeding for my 3 yr niece while swimming in the kids pool. Someone can easily be injured with the stones in the pool. Try it by yourself, if you think I'm lying. There were 2 babies, each 1 year old travelling with us. We needed mineral water to make baby food, so upon asking for additional mineral water, we were shocked to learn that, it is an additional RM 3. Just imagine, we paid RM 9 for an additional 3 btls. At night, its very creepy to hear sounds of someone walking above the ceiling, although all of us were downstairs. This might be just superstitious for someone staying in a resort which was so run down. It's just disbelief, how the HIGHER MANAGEMENT OR OWNERS just allow the hotel to run in this condition. FYI, we have paid RM 3260 for a stay which is merely the same values of a rundown rented house. FYA, I would like to have a word with your GM or any of the higher management to contact me to discuss the refund of my stay. Pl

Hotel Seri Malaysia Melaka

Check-in time is November 16, check-out time is November 18, 2013. We stayed in room 107, just near the pool. It is so convenient to enjoy this holiday with family, just in Malacca, Sri Malaysia. The hotel's room rate seems to be at the level of government staff and can be booked by phone. The location of the hotel is in a very strategic location, close to highways and tourist attractions. Some shortcomings, I would like to emphasize as follows: 1) The hotel room does not provide iron and ironing board, but they have a place for centralized laundry, including ironing facilities. 2) The door of the room is old and their technical problems are always faulty. 3) The windows in the room cannot be closed normally, and there are gaps on the windows that allow mosquitoes to enter. 4) The hotel restaurant serves low-quality food, such as cereal, which is no longer available. 5) The doorman is always very passive in serving, not actively addressing the needs of customers. The advantages of this hotel are as follows: 1) Location, Location, Location .... I like the location of the hotel because it is so close to all the Malacca attractions. 2) The receptionist was friendly and knew how to meet our expected requirements and successfully checked in and out for us. 3) If it is family preparation, the hotel can give more time and can check out 1 hour late. 4) The hotel room service is faster than expected. 5) The hotel subscribed to the Disney channel. Overall, I am very satisfied with the hotel service, But it needs to improve its service quality in some areas. It is highly recommended to look at these Malaysian government service personnel. There are more discounts to return to the vast number of customers.

Hotel Sri Rembia

This hotel is at a shoplot area with many nearby abandoned shops. The good thing is the hotel is quite clean. However, the family room with 2 queen beds are very small. Very difficult to pray and move around in the room. Asked for extra pillow and blanket. Charged RM20 for blanket cover and RM5 for each pillow. The rate is very expensive for the room size and location. It is cheaper to book directly with the hotel. There is a row of shops across the road with Speedmart 99, mrDIY, Malay restaurant and Mamak shop. Many termites were at the restaurant when we went for dinner. Overall, it is a decent hotel but the price for family room is very expensive. The single rooms are much cheaper and worth it.
Simpang Ampat Hotel

A centrally located and newly built hotel. Very pleasant, clean, and cozy interior with comfortable beds and pillows. Great A/C and TV. Things to improve on: slow check in process (~15 mins), most rooms have no windows, toothbrush not provided. Apart from these, one of the better hotels in this small town. Worth the money and very comfortable for 2 a night stay.
PARKROYAL A’Famosa Melaka Resort

received a free upgrade to deluxe room as we have waited too long to check in. the room was both comfortable and newly furnished, ensuring a pleasant stay. Despite encountering an issue with the TV, which couldn't be resolved, I still managed to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. Breakfast was good but could have been more variety in the options offered. Currently, only one restaurant is open. overall, we left feeling content with our stay, appreciating the efforts made by the hotel staff to accommodate guests and ensure a pleasant experience.
The Orchard Resort & Spa, Melaka

We had superb experience for our body, mind and soul! From free upgrade to garden villa in the green to free appetiting herbal drink; from guided orchard tour to tasting organic honey from beehives; from trying out speleotheraphy in himalayan salt crystal room to jacuzzi spa session; from enjoying sumptuous specially requested vegan breakfast to signature massage, we truly feel overwhelming over the experiences and gratitude towards all friendly and helpful staff within the resort. 2D1N is rather short for us to explore more activities and we surely will visit again!
