We booked through an internet site for 2 adults and 2 children. Even so, we sent an email to Pestana's reservations department and to the Hotel's reception, which confirmed it. When we arrived, we were in for a bad surprise. The attendant informed us, screaming, that the room did not accommodate our family. She suggested that we pay for a new additional room, or that we sleep on the floor, as she had nothing to do with the events. blaming the screams! Didn't try to solve the problem, just blamed us! The children, and a couple of friends were shocked by such a lack of professionalism. My kids have bad memories to this day. Anyway, out of the 2 PAID nights, we only stayed one, we didn't know the historical structure because it wasn't a walk anymore.....it was a stress, a trauma! Regrettable We frequent Rede Pestana, but in this experience we were wronged. I do not recommend it at all! I hope they take steps to ensure that such situations never happen again.
