Very good value hotel in a good location for Alvor  Nice pool and a very good buffet breakfast  The Hotel has a pool and parking make sure you get a room with a balcony otherwise the room would be too cramped

We stayed at agua jardim in sept/Oct for the second time. The hotel is lovely the rooms are roomy and are kept clean and tidy by the housekeepers. The breakfast is good with everything you need for a decent breakfast plenty of choice. Pool area had lots of sunbeds and we did not have any trouble getting a sunbed. However my only gripe is the pool area was cleaned on a morning and the floor around the pool hosed down with water but left with lots of excess surface water which I considered to be very dangerous as there were a lot of elderly people in the hotel. The reception staff were all friendly and helpful and we are already booked for next year. The position of the hotel is also very good for access to the town and reasonably flat.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location just a short walk into town. The staff are wonderful and helpful. Plenty of choice of food at Breakfast... Rooms did not have a great deal of storage, but manageable and while we were there they held a meeting between staff and visitors to discuss any recommendations/improvements, drink included. Would definitely return

Small but perfect hotel, lovely room overlooking the pool. Room and hotel meticulously kept clean, pool area too. Lovely food from the pool bar, recommend the tuna baguette, delicious ! Lovely breakfast choice and plenty of it. But best of all are all the staff, friendly, polite, professional and for us their help when we needed it was exceptional. Would love to return one day.

Hotel is nice but has a few flaws. We had a standard double room and this is the first holiday we have had where we didn’t have a balcony and boy did we miss one. All standard doubles dont have a balcony! The room itself is basic and very clean, they need to remove the little tables at the side of the bed and replace with bedside drawers as there aren’t any in the room. I had read prior to going about the lack of hanging space so I bought a folding clothes rack which worked wonders. The clothes hanging space is odd as a mirror is in the wardrobe and obscured by clothes. Could do with a mirror in the main room. The beds are really firm and not something we are used to. If you have a room at the front of the hotel you cant sleep with the window open as its on a very busy main road. The hotel is spotlessly clean as is the pool area, staff are friendly and helpful. Pool bar serves really good snacks during the day but closes at 6.00pm. There is a small bar in the hotel reception but never saw anyone use it as there isn’t really anywhere to sit and drink. Pool area is lovely and peaceful but is east facing and totally in the shade around 5.30pm. Proximity to Alvor centre to bars and restaurants literally minutes away and beach is a 15 min walk
