This hotel is legendary and maintains all the prestige that has always made it famous. The lounges, corridors, pool, architecture, etc., are excellent. The breakfast remains very good. However, the golf course and surrounding fields were still recovering from all the storms that have passed through the Algarve. The hotel walls need painting, and the room cleaning seemed quite superficial. All the staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Next time we hope to stay more than one night to be able to enjoy everything the hotel has to offer.

Good service, the facilities are dated, as it's a 1966 hotel, and in dire need of updating. The two golf courses are excellent and well-maintained. I believe the 5-star rating is due to the golf courses, because otherwise, I can certainly consider it a 4-star.

Hotel was very nice, buffet was excellent and loved the robes. We played golf but needed to rent clubs. They were expensive and not very good.
