AlvorMar Apartamentos Turisticos

Apartment was very roomy and impeccably clean. On reflection,we got lucky having a balcony overlooking the garden and away from the pool and any noise...which to be fair was never excessive. We still prefer adults only accommodation but our particular room ticked many boxes.

Could not fault Alvormar. Our apartment was perfect, spacious and comfortable with an enormous terrace with sun lingers and table and chairs and an extra balcony. The kitchen contained everything we needed and a large fridge, a kettle and microwave. We didn’t cook as there are so many great restaurants in Alvor. The air con was super efficient and much needed in 36 degree heat. The black out blinds were great too. The location is ideal so close to everything but set back in quiet area so no noise. All staff were friendly and helpful and the room was cleaned every day to a high standard. All facilities were super clean. There is a small but adequate pool and separate sun terrace. We also had very good, reasonably priced sandwiches at the pool cafe. We will return to Alvor and this is our new favourite place to stay.

Stayed here August 26. Reception staff are very friendly and welcoming and let us check in early as the room was ready. The apartments are a 2 minute stroll into town and are very clean, modern and spacious. Kitchen area has everything you need including all cooking equipment, plates, utensils etc. Pool area has plenty of sun loungers and gets the sun all day long. My only criticism is the pool is rather small and very shallow. Ideal for young children though. Would definately stay here again.

Was a last minute booking the week before and was a really good base for getting around Alvor. The old town was 5 minutes walk one way and then shops and some nice cafes and restaurants 5 minutes the other way. The beach is also a ten minute walk. Staff were very friendly. The pool is quite small but no problem getting a sun lounger at anytime of day. The snack bar was perfectly fine as well. All in all, it was a really good option considering how late we decided to have a break in the Algarve.

We have had a lovely week staying at AlvorMar. The rooms are great, air con and black out blinds meant we’ve had great sleep. We were on top floor, which also had a sun terrace. Hotel is super clean and lovely and quiet. Apartments are well stocked if you want to cook. A well stocked Super market is just a short walk. Easy walk to Alvor beach and the old town with plenty of places to eat, we liked Pullthebar, by far the best cocktails! Last came to Alvor 20 years ago, it’s got much bigger but we will definitely be back and would rebook AlvorMar

Great hotel …. very central to everything, all the restaurants and bars on your doorstep, however the beach is a bit of a hike , 10 minutes…. Had the ground floor apartment with direct access to garden which was perfect. Air con was great , room was cool at all times. Great showers too . All the staff very friendly. Room clean, and cleaned almost daily. Pool area on the small side , and the pool itself could be busy but the area never over crowded. Couldn't fault our stay here. Was our first time in Alvor , loved it , we’ll be back 😎

Love Alvor and AlvorMar which is why like us people keep coming back. Apartments are clean and spacious and equipped with everything you need. Great shower too. Location excellent near the shops and restaurants and about 10 mins to beach. Staff all very friendly. Swimming pool small but never very busy. We’ll be back

Apartments were spotless and cleaned daily. All staff extremely courteous friendly and very helpful. Location is excellent 5mins walk from main ***** and 10 to beach.

Absolutely spotless, great reception service from the minute you walk in the door till the minute you leave. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. Location is fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay
