Nice hotel enjoyed the stay and the staff were lovely.   The breakfast is pretty dreadful though.   Whether you want western or eastern style it’s all a challenge to make a decent breakfast and the machine in the kitchen that removes flavour must have been turned to full power because it was tasteless.   Served by very nice kind and warm staff - just it seems they were trained how to cook by a British grandma….

Service was excellent even though most staff had limited English. They were very helpful with queries and bookings. Awesome selection at breakfast, and dinners were amazingly well presented and delicious. Room was very clean though dated. Location is a bit out of the way but was right by the beach.

Stayed in the standard double room. The room was huge, which is really surprising for Japan hotels. Everything was clean, it’s just that the hotel is a little old which shows in the style of the decorations, but the interior of the rooms were clean. Hotel had public baths and breakfast buffet came with the room we booked. Spread of the buffet was alright. Location wise, it’s nothing exceptional, but I don’t think there’s much to do in town anyways. We were about 15min drive to the dolphin centre which was the main itinerary for our day in Amakusa. View was good, hotel had its own garden area and sea view.

It was with great pleasure that we visited the Hotel and we could actually consider doing it again.

The location, cleanliness, and service were all excellent. The hot springs left my skin feeling silky smooth. The food was luxurious and delicious, making this a hotel that will become a fond memory for my mother and daughter.

This is a wonderful hotel with excellent value for money. The open-air bath is spacious and the rooms are spacious. The views are great and the staff are friendly. I was very satisfied.

The hotel is located in the first row of the sea view. The scenery in the morning and evening is superb. The service staff is very friendly and the food is also very satisfactory. There is a bathhouse about five minutes' walk away (you can take a shuttle bus). We think it is great. There are two types of sea view and mountain view. The men's and women's baths will rotate on single and double days, so we go to the bathhouse in the evening and early morning. I like all the experiences. It is really relaxing and great. It should be one of the best hotels in Amakusa. It is really a great experience. I have booked rooms and air tickets on trip many times. There was a little episode in this booking. With the active assistance of the customer service staff, we were lucky to solve and overcome the problem and actively compensated for our losses. Thank you trip, it is still a booking platform that makes me feel at ease. 👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The lock on the toilet on the first basement floor before breakfast was broken. I wish they'd use a better hairdryer.

Amakusa is at the edge of Kumamoto, and transportation is inconvenient. You can take the Amakusa bus from Kumamoto, which takes two and a half hours on the road. There will be no group tours in this place, which is good. It is quiet and the hot springs are basically like a private place. The hotel facilities are relatively new, the sea view is extremely beautiful, and the hot spring water quality is excellent. But there are no places to play around, so in the hotel you can: watch the sea, soak in hot springs, and be in a daze. Note: There are only two ways to leave Amakusa, one is to return to Kumamoto, and the other is to take a ferry across the sea to Nagasaki. Don't choose the Lingbei Steamship plan to go to Nagasaki. If the wind speed is greater than 10 meters/second, the steamer will stop sailing. The wind speed in Amakusa is 16-30 meters/second every day. It depends on the weather to sail. There is a forecast on the blog of Lingbei Steamship. Once it can sail, it will be like good news. If you really want to go to Nagasaki, it is best to choose to take the car and passenger ferry to Oniike Port, which basically will not stop sailing. It costs more than 3,000 yen to take a taxi from Amakusa Angel Garden Hotel to Oniike Port. After crossing the sea to Kuchikozu Port, take a bus to Isahaya, where you can transfer to the Nagasaki Line train to Nagasaki Station.

The location was great, right in front of the sea.

The bath was very nice. Although it was a short distance away, they also provided a shuttle service so I didn't have to worry about getting cold. The breakfast was delicious and varied, so I was very satisfied.

It was my first time staying here. It was a very beautiful and relaxing space! Breakfast was buffet style and delicious. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
