Aqua Petra
"by car about 25 minutes from Katapola or 15 minutes from Aegiali located in an amazing area. People who want to relax and seek peace and quiet are in the right place here. The apartments are spacious and almost all have a sea view, ideally also for families. There are plenty of sunbeds by the pool as well as at the beach area and you can always enjoy a drink at Pavlos' bar. This hotel gets a warmest recommendation because of the location the cleanliness, the friendly service from everybody."
Vigla Hotel
"Vigla hotel is in a stunning location - beautiful, unspoilt and peaceful in the small ancient town of tholaria with amazing views of the mountains and sea . It is close to the gorgeous beaches of levrossus and aegili. The family who run it and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect. My daughter and I had the best most relaxing and memorable time, enjoying the pool , the restaurant food and a really interesting and fun cooking lesson. I would love to come back for some hiking when it is not so hot . Thank you so much for a wonderful stay."
Aegialis Hotel & Spa
"This was a trip of a lifetime. The vibe is just incredible. We felt like we were at home whilst being at the most luxurious resort. The food, the views, the facilities but most of all the incredible staff. Thank you"
Yperia Hotel
"We were prejudiced before we arrived as the hotel charged us 100% (900+ euros) for two sea view rooms six months in advance, rather than the 30% stated at booking. The sea view was partially blocked by a building in front and the side view was a dirt parking lot with abandoned trailers. The toilet paper holder sat on top of the toilet, the door to the room was broken, and the A/C wasn’t cooling. My husband, an engineer, fixed what was wrong, but when I complained to Adonis, the manager, and asked for a different room, his reply was that those were minor complaints and that if we wanted another room we could go to a different hotel. Instead of being embarrassed that my husband had to clean the clogged A/C filter, he chastised him. The pool area is very small, and it’s a long walk to a beach. The breakfast staff was very pleasant. But, needless to say we would not return. "
Castelopetra
"We so loved this accommodation and the great hospitality offered by Andreas - so friendly and helpful. Best breakfast in the Cyclades! So much choice and plentiful. Beautiful views over the bay from our clean and comfortable studio."
Hotel Minoa
"A great hotel just a hop and skip (well, 30 second walk :-) ) from the ferry. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our room which overlooked the small square in Katapola and out to sea. We found the room very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the world go by after our days exploring the island. The hotel rooms are above a bakery so although we didn't opt for the buffet breakfast we were able to chose lovely baked goods for breakfast (and other snacks during the day). Katapola itself has a good selection of places to eat and proved to be an ideal base for exploring the island."
Skopelitis Village
"So what can I say: just one thing: "PERFECT"!!!! The hotel is in a great location for exploring the island, the cleanliness, the service, the view from the hotel (Wow), the rooms and the bedding are top-notch... the availability of Andrea (the hotel owner), a pleasant, attentive, friendly person, always ready to help... and the attentive staff... Thank you all for this wonderful moment (an enchanting interlude on a favorite island)"
Amorgion Hotel
"Excellent 3 day stay at this gem of a hotel. Wonderful location about 15min walk outside of katapola. Picked up at port on arrival and returned, when leaving for free. Staff ( especially, Joanna and Andreas) were wonderful - friendly, polite and very efficient. Breakfast and pool area were excellent. Really recommend this hotel for very relaxing time in Amorgos."
