S&A Vondel Park Hotel

The hotel's location is pretty good, right next to a park and many luxury shopping streets. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff's attitude was nice. The room was quite small, but it had everything I needed, perfect for a solo traveler. The reason I didn't give a full score was because the air conditioning was freezing cold. It's a central air system, and even when turned off, it was still freezing. I didn't dare to shower, fearing I'd catch a cold, and I didn't get out of bed all night.

The staff were very attentive. The place is clean and in a good area. Highly recommended.

This was my first trip to Amsterdam, and I stayed here! 🇳🇱 👍 The Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, and Albert Heijn (supermarket) are all within walking distance. 👍 The front desk staff are very kind. The air conditioning is centrally managed, so it was a bit cold at night. However, when I asked, they were able to turn it off just for my room. 🔼 The soundproofing isn't great. I could hear every single move from the people upstairs... However, perhaps because their activity schedule matched mine, I was able to sleep soundly at night.

Good hotel, located next to a park. You can basically walk about 2.5 km through Amsterdam to the #2 blue tram stop, Museumplein, and onward for about 5-10 minutes. The staff were friendly, explaining everything and helping out. The room was accessible, clean, and well-maintained. However, I'm giving a three-star rating for service because the air conditioning was turned off during an intense heatwave, and the room temperature was 31 degrees Celsius. The photos show the AC settings, but it wasn't actually working; it indicated that the system was centrally disabled.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum. A taxi to the train station and airport is also under 30 euros. Dining is very convenient, and the seafood restaurant nearby serves incredibly fresh dishes.
