Location wise is the top pick for me. Within walking distance to hop on to the tram station that brings us to the Amsterdam Centraal. Free coffee tea and some biscuits 24/7. It was confusing to get there. Reception is on the 8th floor and prior to the check in, no clear instruction provided in the email nor in the OTA APP. To save you some time, just find the reception button from the entrance gate, they will immediately open it for you in the daylight. I arrived quite late and hassle to get inside with multiple button press and no one is opening it from the reception desk, until one hotel guest came out and save my life. The lady in the reception not so friendly and keep defend herself she had opened it for me, which was so untrue. No sorry no apologizing. The next morning, the guy with curly black hair in the reception treated us unfavored for our whole stay. I asked for help to reheat our meals and he just lazily pointed to the other restaurant staff without any word. Please train your staff with more hospitality as you claimed as 4 stars hotel. The other staffs are just okay. Service wise is below our expectation, even 3 stars hotel can do better!

I often stay at Amadi Hotel, but unfortunately, I always encounter problems that they never fix. Last time, the sink was leaking. Now, the window wouldn't close, the sink wouldn't drain, the bathroom mirror light was broken, and the shower was broken. On top of that, they removed the machine near the reception where you could make a cappuccino or get a glass of milk. A while ago, they even had slippers, but not anymore. I go twice a year because my daughter lives 200 meters away, so it's convenient, and it's also quiet. Tram 26 passes by and takes you to the city center.

Thanks to Trip.com for offering us this hotel at a great price. The hotel was very pleasant and clean, and the beds were super comfortable. The location was a bit far from the city center, which could be a slight issue at night, even though tram access was easy until midnight. Still, I'd rate the location 4/5.

Hello, first off, we were shocked by the entrance downstairs – trash everywhere and the tiled entrance looked like a slaughterhouse. Then we had to wait 40 minutes for our room because it wasn't ready yet. The single beds were at most 80 cm wide with two mattresses stacked on top, but you still sank into the bed. There were cobwebs on the ceilings and the furniture was full of stains. There was a creepy crawly in the bathroom, and the shower leaked a bit, so there was water all over the floor after showering. The promised view was also missing. The breakfast staff, however, were very nice. We checked out a night early, and they didn't even ask why. Upon arrival, I was told my reservation couldn't be found. After checking with Trip.com, it turned out to be a hotel error, but the back-and-forth lasted over 30 minutes. Despite arriving late at night and wanting to rest, I was told to find another hotel. Eventually, a room was provided, but then I was informed the hot water wasn't working. I was promised a 20% refund, but when I asked about the refund process, I was told to contact the manager. The manager then told me to contact their head office. Even with Trip.com's assistance, the refund has not been processed. This was incredibly disappointing, especially since I was looking forward to this stay. I will consider changing my review if the refund is eventually processed.
