Hotel Artemis Amsterdam

Hotel was very clean and good value for money as I paid around 70 eur last minute  However the location is a bit far from the city and you ll need to get an uber

We booked the superior queen room. There was nothing superior about it. I stayed here for 1 night I DO NOT RECOMMEND it looks decent online. However once you arrive you get met by rude staff members from when we arrived all the way until check out anyone who spoke to us, or even made eye contact was extremely dismissive. There was one staff member I think he was the security he was very polite. The rooms: The floors are dirty, shower and plug hole were dirty. The only amenity was the heated flooring and YouTube on the tv which is rare find. The coffee was full of lint and could not be used. The worst part was the tv remote which was dusty, disgusting and sticky I had to cover it with a bag before I even touched it. There are no main lights in the room just two big dim lamps. The outside and downstairs for the hotel was good looking but we were sold a dream online. It is quite far from the centre a 30 minute drive which was our fault but easy to get an uber.

The location is good, not so busy, there is good Italian restaurant nearby . Breakfast is good. Room is basic, good enough for a short stay.

I stayed here for 3 nights and they didn’t clean the room. When we did check out we could to pay 10€ to do check out one hour late, we decided to do it, but before we left a man came to the room He rang the doorbell very aggressively. I opened the door and he said that check-out was supposed to be at 11:00. I told him we were going to pay an extra hour to check out at 12:00, so he, in a very intimidating tone, said you need to go now and pay the €10 extra hour, but we were already leaving to do that,

The hotel is so beautiful and it’s big , it’s 10min to where you will take Amsterdam central , if you want something comfortable i recommend

The staffs are very friendly, the room was very clean and has a nice view and place is near in the city like only few minutes by car.

I greatly recommend this hotel. We were 4 and all of us were truly satisfied with most of aspects of hotel. Just you have to pay 20 euro for every night for parking and it is expensive. The breakfast was perfect for every taste and we liked it.
