I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Orange Tulip Hotel.
I stayed for three nights and only realised afterwards that I had developed multiple insect bites all over my body, including my legs, arms, and torso. These appeared after sleeping in the hotel bed and caused significant discomfort and distress, especially as I was travelling back home internationally.
When I contacted the hotel, they initially stated that no issues were reported at checkout, despite the fact that symptoms became more obvious shortly after leaving. While they later agreed in writing to issue a full refund, I am now still chasing the money months later, despite providing my bank details promptly.
This experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and deeply concerning. Beyond the physical discomfort, I had to take precautions at home to avoid potentially spreading insects, which no guest should ever have to worry about after a hotel stay.
The lack of hygiene, followed by slow and frustrating handling of the refund, shows a serious failure in guest care and accountability.
I would strongly advise future guests to think carefully before booking here.
