The hotel is very centralised...minutes away from the train station and also walkable distance to all major sights. Good place for short stay. Only negative is that the room is small for 3 people and no lift. Difficult if u have big luggage to carry up....but overall it was a pleasant stay

Great stay overall: clean and comfortable rooms with good amenities. The hotel is perfectly located right in the city center, making it incredibly easy to get everywhere on foot. It’s just a 3-minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station, and if you don’t feel like walking, trams, trains, and buses are all nearby, so everything is very well connected. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back :) the view from the room loved it

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Orange Tulip Hotel. I stayed for three nights and only realised afterwards that I had developed multiple insect bites all over my body, including my legs, arms, and torso. These appeared after sleeping in the hotel bed and caused significant discomfort and distress, especially as I was travelling back home internationally. When I contacted the hotel, they initially stated that no issues were reported at checkout, despite the fact that symptoms became more obvious shortly after leaving. While they later agreed in writing to issue a full refund, I am now still chasing the money months later, despite providing my bank details promptly. This experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and deeply concerning. Beyond the physical discomfort, I had to take precautions at home to avoid potentially spreading insects, which no guest should ever have to worry about after a hotel stay. The lack of hygiene, followed by slow and frustrating handling of the refund, shows a serious failure in guest care and accountability. I would strongly advise future guests to think carefully before booking here.

Good location and facilities. Appreciate the luggage storage and clean towels and toilets.Only issue is the staircases Not for disabled or elderly

The hotel’s location was quite good, and I was satisfied in that regard. However, unfortunately, there were serious issues with room comfort. The sound insulation was almost nonexistent; I could clearly hear other rooms’ doors closing. In fact, when another room’s door was closed, my room door would shake, creating excessive noise. One night, I was even woken up from my sleep because of the noise. Although there was internet available, it barely worked, which became a major inconvenience for me. Despite the good location, I would not consider staying here again due to these issues.

The experience wasn't great. The place is very old, and the stairs are almost vertical, making it really difficult even for men to carry luggage. Women have to be extra careful going up and down. We stayed in a 4-person room, and there was barely any space to move between the four beds. Since it was a weekend, the room rate was quite expensive. Although it's close to the train station, I'd recommend looking a bit further in for more and better options. Oh, and the hairdryer in our room was broken, but the front desk lady didn't believe us. Check-out is at 11 AM, and we were charged 15 Euros for checking out at 12 PM. I highly advise everyone to check out on time.

Very close to the canals, *** ***** ********, station etc. staff is helpful and friendly. No elevator, rooms are very small, make sure to book a big one if you’re two people. Windows don’t open in many rooms but they offer fans

The location is the best, very close to Amsterdam Central Station and close to a lot of shops. Price for 3ppl for one night was very low, wow... definitely going to stay again at this location.

It's like in the photos. Everyone was very accommodating and welcoming. It's right in the centre !!

The location is excellent, being really close to the central station, and it's even more conveniently situated than some pricier hotels. The 24-hour front desk also provides a great sense of security.

Rooms were very tiny. No doubt hotel is at the centre of the city. You can get to the nearby places by walk. If you have option choose another hotel  instead of this.
