Bunk Hotel Amsterdam Reviews

Stayed for one night, bunk in large mixed dorm. The staff were super lovely and informative. The actual architecture was fantastic to see how they honoured the original church and maximising the levels. Particularly with private rooms (next time) Communal showers and toilets basic, clean. Small luggage storage per person. Only a curtain for each bunk, so strict 10pm onwards quiet time. I wasn't able to choose between a top or bottom bunk option, unsure whether this was because of bookings or just the person I was checking in with, this would have been helpful. Restaurant connected to hotel super chilled.

The location is good, nearby metro, many eatery, especially the fish shop Vishandel Tuyp . Few choices of bus stop. There is a Albert Heijn supermarket and a VoordeelMarkt. Only thing I don't like it's the room area is too small, less than 20m2, I think it was 17m2 or so. My own mistake that I overlooked. The staff are amazing especially the male counter staff that provided a lot assistance, even provide first aid box when he saw my wife injured. His service rendered was amazing.

Everything about this place is great. The two male managers are incredibly friendly and approachable. It's close to the subway station. Just cross the bridge and walk straight, and you'll find a very hip dining area with renovated old factories. The only downside is that it's a bit expensive.

We found this after much research and felt like we’d stumbled on a beauty and boy were we not let down. This hotel was fantastic in every way. The building, design and decor was beyond quirky, the staff could not do enough for you and the room was perfect. The staff were so welcoming and the facilities were top notch and very clean. The bar and restaurant were reasonably priced and the baggage lockers were a great facility on our last day. Location-wise it was out of the hustle and bustle with a really nice short walk across from the free ferry behind the station, and felt very safe for a young family of 5. We stayed in a room with 5 bunk beds which were so comfortable. The room had a short and toilet and a small sink in the room. The air con was perfect in the 30+ degree May heat. There is a supermarket just around the corner for those essentials. We’d absolutely recommend and would certainly return again in the future.

the room is fine but if u have a big luggage it is pretty tight to open it . and the toilet doors and walls etc are translucent but overall it’s a really nice place and their service was really really good !!

All good except for the room lacks of ventilation, it’s too hot i even saw someone leaves the door open and sleeps

This church-style hotel has cramped rooms. The bunk beds are difficult to climb without handrails, making them quite dangerous. The double beds are also very low, so it's easy to hit your head. It's definitely not worth the price! Those with high expectations should really reconsider. Plus, it's quite a distance from the subway station!

I really enjoyed my stay at Bunk Hotel. The hotel has a unique, modern atmosphere and everything was clean and comfortable. The location is convenient with good public transportation connections making it easy to explore the city. Loved my stay at Bunk Hotel, great value for money. Highly recommended

Clean and quiet in the shared pod room. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended for solo travelers.

Everything was well-organized. Despite being a dormitory, I felt like I had plenty of personal space, and the bathrooms were easy to use.

I've been to Amsterdam twice and both times I chose to stay at BUNK. The hotel is located inside a deconsecrated cathedral, tastefully furnished and with great attention to detail. Although the rooms are small, they are equipped with all comforts and, most importantly, they are clean and cozy. Even though breakfast wasn't included, we often stopped by the hotel's restaurant/bar, which offers truly delicious dishes. The staff is as kind as ever 😊 If I were to return to Amsterdam again, I wouldn't hesitate to go back a third time. Even though it's not super close to the center, it offers the best value for money.
