The stay was great! I'm really glad I discovered the hostel when passing through Anaconda. Very clean, comfy, cozy, well stocked, and had an overall good feel. Great place to find out more about hiking and other outdoor things to do in the area as they have a map room. Staff were great as well. I enjoyed talking with Steve, Marsha, and Kaelyn. Hope to visit again during the winter :) -Marty

This place was amazing. State of the art, clean and modern. The staff was very nice and helpful and I would go there again! I love the kitchen and everything just was so nice. I got to hang up my wet tent outside and there was a nice little area to just hang out behind the building.

Everyone in my party was very impressed with the hosts of Pintles Portal Hostel ( Steve and Marsha) knowledge of the area! The accomodations were really outstanding! The time and space I shared with others was over and above what I had expected! Anaconda Montana has a great little secret in their town! I highly recommend this gem !

I got the chance to stay at Pintler’s Portal Hostel for a couple weeks. Coming from someone who has done a lot of backpacking around hostels internationally, it was honestly one of the best hostel experiences I’ve ever had. Steve and Marsha are incredibly helpful and friendly. The staff went out of their way to help me at every opportunity possible. The space has a beautiful aesthetic and is in a perfect location in the adorable little Montana town. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. They bring a lot to their community and offer a lot to their guests. I plan to go back some day and bring my family.

Been staying there for 2 years in a row on a road trip for a ski trip with my mom.... what a wonderful place to stay...... excellent staff , very clean....... just truly awesome......... You can't find more hospitable and friendly people!!!!

The hosts and employee were absolutely wonderful. My room had everything I needed and the down comforter was so warm and cozy. The entire facility is cleaner than most hotels. It was very relaxing in the evening enjoying a cup of hot chocolate and watching some Netflix.
