The Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa

This place is absolutely PERFECT! The beauty of not only the natural scenery but every inch of the resort including the heavenly rooms. Every service person from the person who greets you at the airport, to the boat captain, to reception (mine was Marion and she's a gem) to the in-room dining employees. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The resort thinks of so many little details that make things special like welcome champagne, lavender oil to help you sleep, beach bag, etc. I've never had such a perfect experience before. Thank you so much!

Room was clean, but there was small cockroach on the floor, lt was expected as there was reminder note about the insect, and aircon abit hot at night for us, good location and excelent resort landscap and activity, restaurant staff very friendly and give excellent service. There are few things I want to comment, first the they took very long time to reply (2-3 days) the email about general inquiry like transport etc, some concierge staff were not patient and sound rude when explaining stuff over the phone and didn’t give a call back, and it’s a luxury resort but the checkin checkout proses feel like in 4 star hotel compare to other resort we stay in Bora Bora.

We had a beautiful room with a plunge pool and wood deck out to the water. Stayed in an overwater bungalow. Staff was superb! Be prepared for sticker shock at the restaurants. A beer is $15, most entrees start at $40. We were disappointed that you get charged an extra $14 for room service, making our order of a pizza and two beers over $100. Yikes! We do have the money, yes. But when you’re already paying over $2000 per night, it feels like ******** gauging. Also, no breakfast options other than the $50 buffet. Overall, it’s been wonderful.

We arrived early to enjoy the amenities and were greeted with lays, tropical juice and escorted to reception with beautiful polynician musician. We so enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting and beautiful grounds. We did have lunch and our order was not placed so after an extensive wait they did rectify the mistake and we received our lunch. We reserved dinner three days prior to arrival for the Signature restaurant ! The service, food and atmosphere were a once in a lifetime experience! Arthur our “personal host”even stopped by dinner to see if our stay was everything we had expected! We wished there was more coral and fish to see when snorkeling on the property! Overall, absolutely beautiful!

The hotel is ok, but the service is not what we expected. In that kind of price, we really expect some more service. Especial, the cleanliness.
