"We had a last minute booking but Ralf was quite accommodating over the phone. Got there late at night and the staff made us feel welcome right away. We booked the family studio and the 2 ocean front apartments, which were just the right size for everyone in the group. The apartments did have an ant issue in the bathroom, but the staff responded quickly. There are 4 medium sized dogs on the property who like to hang around the table while you’re dining, which was one of the highlights for the kids. Every morning of our stay, folks from our group walked from the resort all the way to Alona Beach and encountered some fascinating sea and shore creatures such as crabs and starfish. Top marks for J & R!"

The location is unbeatable — right on a beautiful stretch of beach with crystal-clear water and great for spotting turtles (we saw 4 whilst kayaking). The rooms were spotless and really comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had the best time. Every meal we had was delicious. It’s the kind of place that makes you instantly feel on holiday — peaceful, welcoming, and unforgettable. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended! "We stayed here for nearly a week with another family in two rooms. The resort is beautiful with ocean views, palm trees, and pleasant gardening between the buildings. The saltwater pool is perfect and was never crowded. The staff was very accommodating, booking tours and tricycles, and giving travel advice. One note, the resort is located quite a ways down a super bumpy dirt road, as are most of the resorts in Anda. It was easy to get tricycles into town and back but it was surprising when we first arrived."
