Hotel Yam at Andong cultural street Reviews

The room is quite small, but very cozy and clean. There is everything you need (hygiene products, robes, slippers, hair dryer, hair straightener, refrigerator, TV, computer). Friendly staff, you can drink coffee and have a snack in the lobby. The price for the room is very affordable. The only minus is the air conditioner opposite the bed.

It was an ok hotel. Not bad, but not impressive. The room was smaller than what we've experienced in neighbouring cities, but it was good for one night.

Very affordable, clean and surprisingly nice hotel.. Nice bathroom amenities, such as flat iron, wich made me very happy. Free coffe, water and simpel breakfast like cornflakes and milkbread in a smal sitting area. Perfect location, and close to restaurants, shopping and attractions like the famous Woryeonggio Wooden Bridge. Recommended!👍😀

A good hotel for the price you pay. The room is clean and big enough. Though, The breakfast is super basic.... The receptionist can't speak English...

We had a great stay at the Yam Hotel. The perfect location for a trip to Andong. The room was spotless, comfortable and had all the amenities. Would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

I was there for biz trip and I expected an extra monitor to connect with my laptop. But it was an old connector, VGA. I asked if there was any way. The front man, the owner, tripped to his home to replace the one in the room. How nice the service is in this small town. Hotel staff cared about what customers needed. I don't know how I am thankful for his attitude. Will visit again if I come back to town.

Well located hotel near lots of food and shopping options in central Andong. It was possible to walk to the riverside to the local folk village and also next to the bus stop for Hahoe village. The room was clean, with water and juice provided, as well as a free coffee machine, popcorn machine and toaster.

The room smelled a bit like cigarette when we walked in. We notified the front desk but then the response was that there was no more vacant room. The overall service and room condition were alright except for the smell.

Nice small hotel located in a good central location. As with very other hotel I've visited in Korea, the room was very clean and comfortable. A free popcorn machine at the reception was a nice touch. Would recommend. Andong itself is an interesting small city with a good bus network to allow you to see the local sights. But the walk along the river bank to the moon bridge was our highlight.

I liked the hotel, it's very conveniently located and has everything you need. It's bright.

The location was good, and the sheets and bathroom were clean. However, the window in the room was too small and didn't open to the outside, so it was very stuffy and hot, and the exhaust fan was noisy. The thought of an emergency scared me, so I couldn't sleep deeply.
