Expensive but very dated hotel, check in staff were unmotivated, no greeting, minimal interaction, one of them were doing her make up at the desk, it seemed very unprofessional. Room size was acceptable, we requested twin beds and didn’t realise the second bed was a pullout couch converted, and it was uncomfortable. Pillows and blankets had a funky smell.. if not because we had to stay in the area, we would not chose this place.

Rooms noisy. Air con poor and breakfast a disgrace. Staff at check in were lovely but the woman at breakfast told my 81 year old father that if he didn’t like the breakfast he didn’t have to have it!!!!!! Premier inn have gone rapidly downhill in past few years.

Pulling up to the hotel I was a little concerned. Having lived in the Andover area previously I was fully aware of the location, however it doesn't look like its had any TLC to the outside since it was built. My concerns however were gone the minute we walked in and were greeted by the smiles and friendliness of the reception staff. Our room was also a pleasant surprise. I had forgotten that we had booked a Premier Plus room and the room was great. Overall, great location for travelling, great facilities, but the outside needs to be looked at as it gives a false impression

Tired, grubby, dirty is how I would describe the rooms. Lack of investment . Changed rooms twice, and in serious need of a good clean and bleach in bathrooms. Not typical standard expected from the brand. Staff not visible, and took their time responding to the bell on reception.

Lovely stay here ! The rooms are well equipped with everything you need and very clean , and the staff very helpful and welcoming especially the housekeeper I met , and would not hesitate to book again , it’s in a good position for exploring being so close to the A303.

I stopped off on my way home to Essex Devoin having stayed there for 2 nights in the Mecure Hotel in Exeter. See my report about the Mecure. I stay a lot in Premier Inns for business all over the Country. As usual friendly staff booked me in and out. The staff in the restraunt also very friendly and helpful. Room very clean with the usual very comfortable bed and the large TV. The meal deal is very good value with plenty of choice for breakfast. So not that difficcult to run a hotel that well maintained, in good decorative condition, friendly helfull staff, clean with good faciliities, good food and free parking at a reasonable price. Well done to the team at Andover. It would be instructive for the owners and senior management of the Mecure Exeter to spend a night at Premier Inn Andover as a master class in how to run a hotel!

But it was really good. Ample parking - you have to enter your car reg for free parking, easy access to the road network. Didn't find the closeness of the road disturbing at all. I booked a premier plus room, first time ever as the price difference was negligible. It was well worth it and the fridge for storing milk and fruit in was ideal. Room and bathroom was clean, tidy, well stocked and comfortable. First appearances can be deceptive, as this hotel looked pretty run down from the outside, on an industrial estate, but as above, don't let this put you off.

The whole team here are absolutely amazing! Couldn’t ask for more helpful and kind staff. Especially the Hotel Manager Liam who is exceptional at what he does and never fails to make us feel welcome. Thank you for ensuring our stay is always great.
