Amanites Guesthouse

There is one very good reason why this hotel is top-rated - it is perfect. Great rooms, very helpful and friendly owner, a super breakfast buffet and the ideal location in Dimitsana. We were a group of five hillwalking couples and spent four days hiking sections of the Menalon Trail and it was a pleasure to return to Amanites each evening to relax.

This is an incredibly spectacular village located for the trails and hikes . Amanities guest house is within easy walking distance of all the bars , shops and restaurants . The room was immaculately clean with a balcony and view overlooking the town and hills . The bed extremely comfortable. Harris welcomed us at the start and was incredibly helpful with local info on trails and getting taxis . We had an excellent breakfast with both continental and local food . Coffee was excellent . For the hikes I would recommend stayin here for at least three full days and would highly recommend this accommodation.

Very comfortable guesthouse overlooking the valley below and mountains above. Up from the main street and very quiet. The guesthouse itself is lovely and so well cared for. Breakfast was great. Hara and Aris were extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the hiking routes in the area which were well worth experiencing. Other staff were quick to respond and took excellent care of the rooms each day. My son and I had adjoining rooms which was very convenient. Cannot recommend this guesthouse highly enough and this beautiful mountain area in Greece.

This is a fantastic place to stay, Aris and Hara were wonderful hosts, they helped with routes, cases, places to visit. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh omlettes and pies and cakes everyday. Views are spectacular, and very close to the town. Places to park too if you have a car. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Welcomed by the lovely owners, Hara and Aris, this special, family run guest house is a wonderful place to stay. If you are in a room with a balcony, the view is breathtaking. No need for AC!! The cool breeze in the mountains flows through the room and the sounds of birds and insects can be heard through the mosquito nets although no mosquitoes live at thus altitude. Perfectly located minutes from small town, there are plenty of tavernas. The breakfast is amazing and pastries and other treats are home made by Hara. Hara has a great knowledge of the area and was happily suggesting walks, the best roads and local places to visit. Off street parking in this small village is useful.
