Search for a hotel in Anjo City on a business trip. I like the location of Mikawa Anjo station in front of Tokaido Shinkansen and the home purge, but it is cheap price setting. The entrance is also like an English style luxury residence, and the room is English style with furniture and beds. There may be an environment of the circulation, but I was able to spend quietly and relaxed. As a difficulty, there is really nothing to be around. Although the convenience store is in front of you, there are few stores even if you eat night meals, and it ends in an early time. Is that it? The price is good to stay in a cheap hotel and the cospa is outstanding.

You can arrive at Mikawa Anjo Station (JR conventional line, Shinkansen) in about 3 minutes walk. The room was double, but both the room and the bathroom are very clean. Parking fee is an extra charge. Parking is also on site, but the number is limited. No advance reservation is possible. We arrived around 19:00 on a public holiday (the next day is a weekday), but the parking lot on the premises was already full and the affiliated VITS parking lot was guided. VITS parking lot is close to the hotel, so I think it will be painful if you can't park in the parking lot on the premises. Parking fee will be paid at check-in. Credit card was also available. The hotel was able to grasp the request that I had told in advance without forgetting. Breakfast had menus such as curry, rice, natto, miso soup, bread, salad, * grilled, hamburger steak. It is a buffet style in the space in front of the front desk. I think it's a good variety for a free breakfast. There is also a dedicated tray, so you can take it back to your room and eat it. We went around 7:30 and it was almost full. There was no problem with the water pressure in the shower. The air conditioner is not centrally managed, so it can be adjusted for each guest room. Is the only thing I was interested in about the thinness of the wall? This is a common story for Toyoko Inn class hotels, but the walls are thin, so the sound of the next room echoed.

I stayed in the single deluxe room. The hotel has done renovation since I was here years ago. It's a modern hotel with good amenities. It's pretty small, but not uncommon for a Japanese hotel. It was clean and the staff was nice. For the cost it's very good value. The bed and pillow are not soft like you'd expect in a western style hotel. It's pretty firm, especially the pillow. I did sleep very good on it though, so maybe it's not such a bad thing. There is shopping and food in walking distance. The train station, bus station and cab depot on the same block and very convenient.

Mikawa-Anjo houses two Toyoko Inns rigth next to each other. They are not exactly the same, so it is worth differentiating them. This one (the ”No. 2”) is equipped with a self-service (so-called ”express”) check-in facility, which also means the guestrooms have been upgraded to the new-generation Toyoko standard. Mikawa-Anjo might sound like some kind of pointless backwater compared to Nagoya, but it is only a 15-minute shinkansen stop away, the prices of everything are cheaper than they are in the big city, and it generally feels like a breath of fresh air compared to hectic Nagoya. Breakfast can be (was) amazingly spacious and uncrowded if you are used to other Toyoko's. Otherwise, identical to other Toyoko Inns -reliably solid, with unfailingly courteous staff.

Had a stayover on the way back to Nagoya and just need a clean room to sleep . Was surprised to find the place much better than my expectation , with free coffee in the lobby and decent breakfast at a reasonable rate. Did not use their laundry equipment due to the ”look”” but there is coin operated laundromat just 2 mins walk away which is much cleaner but cost more .

I used it when I walked ”town” in Tokoname. It is about a 3-minute walk from ”Meitetsu Tokoname Station” and there is also a free flat parking lot, so it is convenient to go by train or by car (I went by car).
