My turkish isn't good, and the lady behind the counter would be very rude and dismissive towards me when I tried to speak. When I arrived I selected pay at the hotel with a card but she said the machine was broken and I needed to pay cash. I wasn't prepared so I just paid with the euro. She accepted the money and said she would give me the change later. I arrived a bit too early, so I asked her if my room was ready. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind waiting. She said it was already cleaned, and I went upstairs and just put down my bags and left. I was in a hurry to go outside and saw the cleaning lady just arrived but didn't pay it any mind. I locked my door and left. Later, when I arrived, a man behind the counter gave me back my money and told me I was only allowed to pay with Lira. I told them I selected paying with a card on the site, and they agreed to let me pay with a card. After I arrived, I noticed some paper and toothpicks on the floor of my room but just picked it up, feeling uncomfortable to get into another argument with the staff. I took a shower and then noticed the sink was dirty, which I also cleaned myself before leaving the hotel room again. In the evening I arrived when I went upstairs. I noticed hair on the covers and bed and also on the floor. We went downstairs to tell the staff, which was a very polite man and he offered us new covers and a va uum cleaner. We vacuumed the room ourself before going to sleep. Honestly worst hotel experience ever. -
