Novotel Annecy Centre Reviews

A hotel is near train station about 300 meters. A housekeeper did not refill amenities. The first night, I asked for hand gel. A second night, I asked for shower cream.

Great location, helpful staffs. Breakfast has limited choice but okay!

It was amazing to stay in this hotel. It was very close to the place where we wanna visit. And room condition was also nice.

Comfortable stay as expected from Novotel standard. Good location if you travel by train and to visit the historic centre.

We didn't like it here. The building is located above the railroad tracks. You can feel every train passing by every hour since 5 a.m. The bed linens are hard. Our room was littered with a bunch of random objects and someone's cap in the closet. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The parking entrance was very narrow. We had to fold our car mirrors. The staff all seemed like it was their first day on the job. I was especially impressed by the cleaner in the lobby who spent an hour scrubbing 2.5 square meters—he wasted no time at work and didn't even clean anything. He didn't even pick up the pancakes someone dropped on the floor. The location is good relative to the city center. The towels are clean and soft.

The room is right above the train station, so you can hear the trains passing by very clearly. The staff are quite nice, friendly, and patient. The room is rather small, a bit cramped for families.

The hotel has an excellent location. The only downside is that it was recently renovated, so the room smelled terrible, and the windows were sealed shut and couldn't be opened!

The truth is, it didn't live up to our expectations as there are no parking spaces, and this caused us a lot of trouble searching for parking.

I felt a little odor when I entered the room, I told the waiter, and it felt fresher the next day! The location is very convenient, just near the train station/bus station, there is a train passing by around 6 o'clock in the morning, and there is a sound! The front desk service is very good, but the price is a bit high, and the cost performance is a bit low!

French hotels are incredibly stingy. Several hotels took our room keys after we left, some even refusing to return them. It was truly awful. All our charging devices ran out of power. They provided toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers, but even if you asked, they might not give them to you. They'd ignore you after you asked once, twice, or three times. Chinese hotels are so much better! French hotel breakfasts are absolutely terrible. The breakfasts in Italian, Spanish, and Austrian hotels are much better than in France. I don't understand why French hotels are so bad. The worst thing is that they don't provide water; they give you a glass bottle and tell you to get it yourself from the breakfast restaurant. This isn't environmentally friendly; it's garbage.

The hotel is right next to Annecy train station, which makes travel very convenient. The room is decent. The only downside is that there are railway tracks downstairs, but the double-glazed windows make it less noisy.

The receptionist didn't explain how to use the elevator keys. Many people thought the elevator was broken and kept getting on and off. Some even took the stairs. Even though the elevator was right there, no front desk staff came to help or show us how to use it. We had to learn how to use the keys from other guests. I've never seen a hotel so disorganized and uncaring.

Friendly service, clean hotel, convenient location, good soundproofing of windows, comfortable bed, a very good experience, will book this hotel next time
