House of Good Things Hotel

Stayed here for a week from the 10th September and as someone who has visited the city five plus times, this is by far the best hotel experience we have had. First and foremost we have to thank Mustafa for being such an amazing host, we went above and behind to make our stay as welcoming as possible. So we arrived from Alanya having spent a week there and having spent over £150 for the Alanya hotel, House of good things by far beat the previous hotel. We opted for the family room which gave us a sitting room with sofa bed and tv and a patio door wfich took us out to the courtyard. Huge bedroom with a very comfy bed and windows that looked out to the courtyard and the front alleyway. Kaleici is full of little winding roads and this hotel is tucked away from the main restaurants and bars but only about 1 min walk away. Room was spacious with a nice sized fridge to store your drinks. The air on was a godsend. Honestly the shower here is the best I’ve experienced as usually showers in turkey are little more than a drip but in the hotel it was a full on rain shower. Couldn’t recommend this place any higher, would only suggest they start doing breakfast as I imagine it will be better than anything else you could find locally. Will definitely be back next summer and thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Super cute rooms. The bed is the most comfortable I’ve slept on in this area. Rooms are smaller but fine for 2 people and great for solo. Only downside isn’t the hotels fault but it has been said and I must warn people; the walls are paper thin be prepared to hear everything that goes on outside. It’s an older building so it can’t be helped.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel with beautiful rooms and excellent location. Me and my husband loved the stay here and special thanks to Hakan for his lovely hospitality. The rooms are wonderfully designed and very comfortable.

The rooms were very cute and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were really helpful and pleasant to speak to. The only downsides are that the walls are super thin and we could not get the tv to work. (Not the staff’s fault) We also had a problem with toilet paper. We were three people in one room and we used a lot of it. We had to ask the staff for a new roll of toilet paper every single day. When the staff came with the toilet paper, they only brought one each time. It was getting tiring to ask. Overall, this place was lovely and we will definitely come back.
