Hotel Antequera Hills
"We visited recently as part of a UK based group. Before the trip I was concerned about negative reviews on TI. However my experience was very good, and I have no criticism that would deter its choice as suitable base for those visiting Andalusia. The hotel is modern, although from distance its roofs appear old. The rooms are modern and clean. Breakfasts and Dinners are buffet style, and quite good, though many visitors might prefer the many restaurants in the town, 10 - 20 minutes walk away. There is a sparkling clean swimming pool and a fair number of sunbeds, etc. All of the staff I spoke to were efficient and friendly. Finally, it is very good value, and a good choice if you're visiting this area."
Parador de Antequera
"This rural hotel had a fair number of elderly guests, and the facilities were excellent. Breakfast was plentiful, with coffee, milk, and omelets made to order. It's located on a hill with a small pool and a beautiful view."
Hotel Manzanito
"The hotel is clean, with a minimal but fully equipped room. Parking in front of the building is difficult due to limited space. Conveniently located near the highway exit and in the most central part of town."
Finca Eslava
"Quiet and nice place. We enjoy it a lot. We would definite recommend it to a friend."
Hotel Lozano
"We didn't stay at the hotel just popped in for dinner. We waited around 20 mins for a server to come to us, when he did he was rather slow. We ordered a drink and 10 mins later he brought the wrong ones, which he corrected OK. Then we tried to order food, but he had to get a 'colleague' to serve us, that was another 10 mins or so. When we ordered the food that was another 20 mins until that came. When we got the food, everything was overcooked. I ordered lamb chops in garlic. The chops were well overcooked and dry and the chips also. All in all, the bill for two main meals and two drinks came to €44. We will never return. We have had much better food in the restaurants of service stations for half the price."
La Sierra
"Excellent and fantastic personal and professional service. Comfortable, spacious rooms, meticulously maintained in every aspect. We definitely recommend it if you're visiting the area. Easy and ample parking and an unbeatable location for exploring various surrounding towns. The staff makes you feel right at home. It's a truly exceptional hotel."
Coso Viejo
"The hotel is a central hotel with good facilities."
Hacienda Fresneda María by Real Spain Hotels
"Just outside Villanueva de Rosario located hotel with restaurant, swimming pool and spa. Beautiful and tasteful interior, pleasant service and good food. Spanish in a modern variant. Starters and main courses plus water and wine for around €200. Definitely worth the price."
Hostal Colon Antequera
"More dated than Machin's maracas, although on the main street. Be careful not to accept a room with a streetlight that prevents you from sleeping, and something that you should take care of is that guests do not have to endure the smell of fried fish. The smoke is in the hallway. The prices are cheap, but they are not a bargain."
