Hotel Antequera Hills ★★★★
"Stayed at hotel between 9th to 15th of June. All very good except for the behaviour of the tattooed, pony-tailed barman. He was surly, ignored people waiting at the bar, got orders wrong and was abrupt and rude to guests. If he spent less time sorting his hair out and fiddling with the till, he might have done a better job and even earned himself some tips."
Parador de Antequera ★★★★
"This rural hotel had a fair number of elderly guests, and the facilities were excellent. Breakfast was plentiful, with coffee, milk, and omelets made to order. It's located on a hill with a small pool and a beautiful view."
Hotel Manzanito ★★
"The hotel is clean, with a minimal but fully equipped room. Parking in front of the building is difficult due to limited space. Conveniently located near the highway exit and in the most central part of town."
Hotel Lozano ★★★
"The hotel was very friendly and the staff were friendly and helpful. We have had a very good stay and we recommend this hotel."
Hostal Colon Antequera ★★
"Thank you very much, everything very rich and nice 🥰"
Hacienda Fresneda María by Real Spain Hotels ★★★
"Such a relaxing and beautiful hotel the perfect size to feel peaceful without ever seeming crowded. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and welcoming, and every member of staff we met was warm and friendly. We even checked in a little earlier than planned with no trouble at all. The on-site restaurants serve delicious food at very reasonable prices. They also cater well for dietary needs, with gluten-free bread available on request and even gluten-free beer. A good bottle of wine is around €18, which we felt was excellent value. The pool area is fantastic, a lovely spot to unwind. The nearest village is about a 10-minute drive away, with restaurants, a shop, and a bank. Due to the hotel’s location, having a car is highly recommended if you want to explore. It’s an easy, straightforward 40-minute drive from Málaga Airport. We chose the half-board option, which I’d definitely recommend. It includes breakfast and a three-course evening meal with a great selection of dishes. We’ll absolutely be returning for another mini-break in the future!"
La Sierra ★★★★
"Excellent and fantastic personal and professional service. Comfortable, spacious rooms, meticulously maintained in every aspect. We definitely recommend it if you're visiting the area. Easy and ample parking and an unbeatable location for exploring various surrounding towns. The staff makes you feel right at home. It's a truly exceptional hotel."
Coso Viejo ★★★
"The hotel is a central hotel with good facilities."
Hotel Fuente del Sol ★★★★
"We spent two days in the Spanish hills, we just wish it had been longer. The hotel overlooks such beautiful landscape, it was a bit of a drive to get there but La Joya is just down the road and it was a 25 minute drive to Antequerra which has plenty to see. The hotel is so peaceful, we were pleased to get away from busy Malaga. The rooms are beautifully appointed with tea/coffee, robes and good quality toiletries. With the weather being so hot the air con was very welcome. There is an outdoor pool which is clean and surrounded by well maintained gardens. There is a spa, we didnt use it due to time constraints but I am sure it would be as good as the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and good quality local produce. We ate in the restaurant, the dessert is incredible. Finally, the staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt incredibly welcome. Thank you Anna!"
