The hotel is away from the center but it’s a nice property. It captures essence of Antigua. Pool is nice and so is the lobby overlooking the volcanoes.

It is right on the edge of antigua but not too far of a walk and pretty quiet. I enjoyed the pool and the beautiful surroundings. The staff are wonderful and are very helpful.

You can stay in-walls (room, gardens, restaurant or pool) an enjoy an experience that you will want to repeat. Or go out for a short or long walk in the city to connect with the Franciscan (San Francisco El Grande arqueological site is few blocks North) and Mayan espirituality of Antigua Guatemala; Shoping? Walk some blocks North to Santa Catalina Sweets shop (highly recommended), some more blocks North to the Local Crafts Markets (highly recommended) and more blocks West to the shops around the City Centre. Summary: In or out walls, this is a jewel of a hotel in Antigua Guatemala.

Great location, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff. Rooms are average and poorly sound‑insulated—bring earplugs. A solid choice if you can tolerate some noise.
