Just left Ulagalla by Uga and defintely making plans for our next trip back! It was such an amazing experience! 🥰 It was so peaceful and at the same time had the perfect blend of activities to do. We rode our bikes everywhere and tried archery and kayaking and also went to the elephant research centre and visited the organic farm! Kayaking in the Wannamaduwa tank was truly special. The naturalist Sakun who kayaked with us had a wealth of knowledge about the area and the wildlife and honestly he took the nicest pictures and videos of my husband and I kayaking! Overall the staff at Ulagalla is truly special! From Mr. Asanka at the front desk to Mr. Ravi who drives F&B, to the bellboys, housekeeping staff, front desk staff, restaurant staff, the naturalists including Katherine and even the chef! Impecable service. I am actually going to miss them. We met the GM during dinner and he was telling us about the relief efforts they did for flood victims. The staff takes care of the property and the customers like a guest who has visited their own home. We were fed till our hearts content and taken care of like children. We hope to be back soon! Fantastic place, outstanding service, and incredible food. Very attentive at all times, and they explained each dish and its combinations in detail. A warning for future visitors: it’s a lot of food, so come hungry. Highly recommended, 10/10.

What a beautiful property Huge grounds, private, beautiful villas, amazing wildlife and activities We had such a wonderful stay. Thankyou to all the fabulous staff who make this place truly special. Particularly enjoyed the Kamatha restaurant experience Chef Manel and Barman Theekshana looked after us so well! Thankyou!

We have had the most wonderful stay at Uga Ulagalla, experiencing great hosts, good food and being surrounded by beautiful wildlife! We really enjoyed the Kayaking and Safari, and particularly enjoyed our dinner on the last night at Kamathe hosted by Chef Diluka and Theekshana. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone and to try the restaurant! We also want to highlight Ravi and his team who hosted us throughout and made us feel particularly welcome.
