Hotel Select Inn Aomori Reviews

I wasn’t expecting that much with this price, but surprisingly good hotel with this price. They serve free beef bowl at night and 550 yen breakfast buffet was very nice. They got some curry and chicken dishes and it was very tasty. Night view was nice and there is Machinaka-Onsen nearby so i strongly recommend to visit there. Room and toilet was very small and very old but it was not that bad. After all i was surprisingly satisfied with this hotel, and i wanna visit there again if i go to Aomori again. 5/5.

The hotel is located at a crossroads, so there will be noise from passing cars. My room is on the top floor, and I can hear the rain on the roof when it rains at night. Other facilities are very satisfactory.

Good service. Free dinner vouchers although dinner was just very simple. Free pastry for tea every afternoon and free flow coffee vending machine from afternoon till night.

The breakfast view was absolutely stunning, with snow falling outside. Parking behind the hotel was ¥550 per night.

A great hotel close the train station. Friendly staff. They gave us a free speciality bun at check in and a voucher for dinner. The dinner was excellent. The room was nice and large and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that was a bit lacking was the size of the bathroom. The friendly staff and dinner made up for that though.

A good location. Required a traveller to go upstair by elevator for registration. Free buns when checking. Car park is not free.

Good location with lots of buses, there is an ATM in the convenience store next door which is useful. The building is very old and the furnishings could definitely be replaced. There is no air conditioning, the hotel sets the temperature and you choose how much to open the vent. Unfortunately the seal on the window in my room was broken so I was very cold and there was a lot of road noise. The bed was comfortable but the lights in my room would flicker and overall I think the appliances need to be replaced. I appreciated the curry and rice but even the doors don’t automatically lock and I was a bit scared as I was a woman staying alone. It’s okay for the price but I think if they replaced the furnishings it would look a lot better.

The hotel is a lettle far from Aomori station. But, when you check in until 8.30pm, you can have their orignal curry for free. You can also have a snack bread and cafe for free. Moreover, there are two convince store, one is same building and other's diagonally opposite the building. Unfortunetly, restaurants are not many near by. So, when you use here on foot you may feel a little unconvinent.

Location is excellent . Just across the road from JR station . But in room has noise from air condition .

Nice hotel with great receiption.

The hotel is older, but adorable. Since the heating was broken I got a voucher for the onsen, which was nice too. In the evening there is curry for free, very tasty. Breakfast was also good, thank you.

I chose this route to go through the Seikan Tunnel, stay overnight in Aomori, and then stop over at Oirase and Towada the next day. It's reasonably convenient, neither good nor bad. It's good value for money, so it's perfectly fine.
