Holiday Apartments in London

Our family of four booked the Tower Bridge view suite, which was incredibly spacious and came with a kitchen and washing machine – super convenient! The view of Tower Bridge from our window was amazing, and the subway station was just a few steps downstairs, along with a ferry terminal. We used boats and the subway for all our travel, which was really easy. There's a small supermarket a few hundred meters away where you can pick up basic groceries, fruit, and daily necessities. The only downside was the price being a bit high during peak season, but other than that, no complaints! The front desk staff were also very nice! By the way, they provided slippers, toothbrushes, and toiletries, so I didn't even need to use the ones I brought. 😀

There were 2 rooms and it was large enough for 2 people. Breakfast and dinner are not included, but there is a kitchen, so if you want to save money, you may cook there! I arrived quite early than the scheduled check-in time, but I was able to check in without additional charges.

Location is great with shops open from super early till almost midnight. Half hour by tube to Westminster. The people at the reception were friendly upon arrival, but couldn't be bothered showing basic hospitality manners upon checkout unfortunately. That's why I will give my findings below: While the room itself was good, the crack in the window, always resetting aircon temp to 28c, a very very loud bathroom fan stuck in the on position, a loose cupboard door falling down on the floor did do quite a dent in the experience. Sounds coming from the hallway are quite loudly hearable in the room which is exceptionally annoying when people think it's okay to slam a door shut at 6AM as they're leaving. You can also hear the neighbour take a shower. A couple stains on the wall and one missing clothing hanger I consider as normal damage by usage. Nothing was dirty or in super bad condition and the small kitchen was great to have. A separate coffee machine would do a bonus on the experience!

I highly recommend this place for group travel! It's a family-style accommodation that not only comes with a bar, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge, but also a washing machine! There are two rooms, with an en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom and another one outside, so no one has to crowd together when showering – super awesome! 👍 The most charming aspect is that both the rooms and the living room have balconies, offering fantastic views. We would sit in the living room for breakfast every morning and also for meals and chats in the evenings. This is my favorite accommodation from my month-long trip. It's conveniently located, has supermarkets nearby (Tesco and an Asian supermarket), the area feels pretty safe, and the front desk staff are very friendly. If I visit London again, I would definitely choose to stay here!

I stayed in Templeton place for three nights and the room was equipped with washing machine, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, TV…etc. The room was spacious too. However, especially for solo travellers, please beware of some possible surprising scenario - I encountered a shocking incident when I was having a shower with the bathroom door slightly open. It was around 6~7pm at night. I heard someone keep saying ‘hello’ outside my room but not any alarm, so I turned off the water and clarify. Before I could answer, someone came in, and I saw a man through the mirror (I am a woman). I believe he saw me in the mirror too, then he closed the door and left. I was so shocked to respond. After a while, I called the reception to check what happened. He said that the fire alarm of my room kept ringing, so he came and check what happened. He also said he knocked my door for a few times and no one answered, so he has to make sure I am safe in the room so he unlock the door and came in. He was glad that I am safe but did not mention about causing the embarrassment or inconvenience. I understand that it is the hotel's protocol to make sure guests' safety, and I appreciate their vigilance. But i also suspect that it was not the first time the fire alarm rings, in that occasion, or at some other embarrassing moments. If the shower mist could cause the fire alarm to ring so easily, I believe they could do better by reminding the guests to close the door tightly during shower to avoid triggering the alarm. Moreover, it was very inappropriate that a man entered a woman’s room so easily. It would have been more considerate to send a female staff, or same sex, under those circumstances, to especially female, solo traveller’s rooms, so to eliminate the embarrassment and discomfort to the guest. While I understand that safety comes first and this might be a special incident, I think they could do better by giving reminders to guests about this kind of possible situations. As a single lady travelling on my own, I was shocked the whole night and didn't feel safe to sleep as i realised that the door could be opened so easily but anyone. I wasn’t inclined to feedback or clarify in person as I was alone. I hope they will improve in this area to ensure no such situation will happen again. So please be very aware if you are travelling alone as always. Apart from that, the staff had been helpful during my stay.

We LOVED this flat.  It was exactly as shown in the photos.  The location was 11/10.  If you love the theater - you are in the heart of it.  Producers practically next door, Harry Potter up the street, Mousetrap around the corner and dozens of others.  Lovely pubs, shops and bakeries along the street.  Mini Sainsburry, M&S, Tesco close by for grocery shopping.  We took public transport everywhere and there are so many choices within a 5 min walking distance of this apartment.  The bus stop for several lines is literally across the street.  We have lived in NYC so the city noises (people leaving the bar at night, cars revving engines, garbage pickup) didn't bother us.  If you keep the double window down in the bedroom it cuts out 95% of it.  There is a nice cross breeze through the apartment if you open the windows on both sides just a little.  The bathroom was modern and clean - soaking tub and a shower.  The living room was comfortable for watching TV or eating a meal at the dining table.  We loved the kitchen and used it everyday.  The bed and pillows were comfortable.  This is the first trip in decades I didn't bring my own pillow and they were actually thick enough (as a side sleeper) that I was fine - that rarely happens. There is laundry in the apartment and a drying rack available in the closet. There are only two negatives to this apartment that you should consider when renting......it is on the 5th floor (and in the UK that is 5 sets of stairs - 89 in total as counted by my husband) and no elevator.  If you are up for that daily bit of exercise and carrying up your luggage - this is an amazing apartment.  The other downside is there is no AC.  We were there on the last day of a heatwave (low 80's) and found it ok with the fans on and the breeze.  

Very Good Hotel with beautiful location staff there is very very friendly very cooperative and very courteous i really appreciate each and every staff member They are managing it in the best possible way. Much appreciated we really enjoyed our stay it was very comfortable i will definitely love to revisit and i strongly recommend the place..

GOOD - Very close to Euston station and restaurants Tea & coffee provided although the kettle was on a high cupboard behind the tv (an accident waiting to happen) Bathroom had cosmetic essentials BAD - The room we got was not the one booked as in the photo. The small double was pushed against a wall with 18” round the other 2 sides Once the luggage was in you couldn't get into the cupboards containing the fridge and sink. The crockery was in a 6' cupboard which I couldn't reach only being 5' 4” The bathroom was tiny, my husband had to sit on the toilet sideways as he is tall Room had no air con so had to leave the window open and was noisy

It was beautiful but not much cooking utensils but other than that perfect

Having read some reviews booked this hotel with a few nerves. However staff on reception were lovely. Room was clean. Fan had been left on to coolrom, it was a hot room but in middle.of a heat wave. Perfect location for us to parkrun in Battersea park on Saturday. We only stayed 2 nights did not expect room serive but room was cleaned, bed made, pots washed. Would stop again next time. Only thing I would say watch the shower ours was red hot!
