Holiday Apartments in Bali

The cottage is very nice, the staff are great and also the owner. Rooms were clean, the garden and the pool super nice. I loved that they have a private kitchen into your private village. The bathroom and shower in the room downstairs were much better than the room upstairs. Aircon and wifi work very well. The mosquito net in the room upstairs was not pleasant for me, so I changed the room. I stay a week there, so overall very nice with a very nice puppy cat around. Just to mention the location was not very nice in my opinion, it is 5 kms from ubud center ( 20 minutes by bike), that is ok because you can have tranquility and grab works perfectly there and it is very cheap to move around, but THE DOGS in the area, as it is very local, were very aggressive, any path directions I wanted to take for a little walk was impossible for me, they come to attack you and sometimes they bite also, so I was not able to walk anywhere around, and also anyway you have not many options around to eat or to buy vegetables and meat to cook...it is fine if you move around all the time with a bike.

I stayed at Ubud Center Oasis for my last few days in Ubud, and I honestly wish I had booked a longer stay. The location is perfect, right in central Ubud, making it easy to get around and explore. Restaurants, cafes, and shops are a short walk around the corner. Every popular attraction is a short grab ride away. The property is brand new, and everything felt clean and well-maintained. I stayed in a studio with a kitchen, which I really appreciated. It had a great setup, including a nice fridge and freezer, which made the stay even more comfortable. My room also had a view of the pool, and it was such a relaxing and beautiful touch. The staff were all so kind and attentive, always checking in to see if I needed anything, and any help I asked for was provided quickly. The only small downside was that the internet was a bit slow at times but that’s it! I only stayed for two nights and three days, but I truly wish it had been longer. If I ever come back to Ubud, I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent quiet stay in Sanur – perfect little complex! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at Emy Sanur and really enjoyed our time there. The location is convenient, just 5 minutes from the main Bypass Ngurah Rai, yet once you turn into the small dead-end road, it feels like a completely different world. Take note that it is a bit tight for a car to get to the complex. The complex is small and peaceful, with only about 8 units arranged around a lovely swimming pool. It’s ideal if you want a quiet base away from the hustle but still close to everything. Each unit feels like a small private house rather than just a room. Ours had a proper kitchen, dining table, comfortable bedroom, and a clean bathroom. Everything was in good working order — aircon, hot water, kitchen appliances, WiFi — no issues at all. The unit was spotlessly clean when we arrived and stayed that way throughout our stay. What we loved most was the tranquility. Because it’s a small complex in a dead-end street, there’s almost no noise at night. Great for relaxing by the pool or just chilling in the unit. The staff were friendly and helpful too. If you’re looking for a comfortable, clean, and peaceful place in Sanur that offers good value and a homely feel, I highly recommend Emy Sanur. Would definitely stay again!

I loved the location, the hotel, and how clean it was. Thank you, Poce! The room was clean and newly renovated. There were singing birds in cages in the courtyard. Hot water was always available. There's a shared kitchen with a kettle. My only small complaint is that there were only two small bottles of water. I slept very well here, thank you.

I stayed here for one night before heading back home. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-equipped. It was also quiet. Upon check-in, we were given two complimentary breakfast vouchers for YOLO, which is just 20 meters away. The hotel is located inside a mall, which was quite lively, making it convenient for dining and other activities. I even stumbled upon a candy store, a Singaporean brand that brought back childhood memories for my daughter, so I picked up some sweets. The staff were very friendly, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The only downside is that the detergent they use for the linens has a very strong fragrance. I'm quite sensitive to smells, but my daughter and mother didn't seem to mind it.

Unfortunately the stay did not meet our expectation, not just only for a 5 star accommodation but also for the Novotel branding. The room’s toilet was overflown the first morning of our stay. The aircon could not load to 22degree at night (just kept at 25 and it’s sweaty). The room was full signs of age. The maintenance made loud noise during daytime. The buffet breakfast tasted ok. When we checked-in, I was provided with lots of information and that’s all, no further details to be kept in the room. When I need someone to come and check the aircon, I could not remember which internal number to call. I randomly dialled 0 or 1 and got connected to the team. When I got out and need to connect to the reception team for a lost item, I found no way to connect without a local number (no whatapps or anything). I had to ask a random person using their local phone calling the hotel telephone number (which is sales/reservation) and was then connected to the reception. The room had no bathroom amenities (literally not at all, and later on when they put an extra bed into the room, they stocked them, so apparently they did not remember this when preparing the room). No coffee sachet offered in the room, just a couple of tea bags and sugar). The only positive thing is that the hotel is very kid-orientated (play club, fairy floss during breakfast, plastic drinking cups for kids, colouring tables). Swimming pool is mainly for those higher than 1m though.

The cabins were not possible to find unless you already knew where they were. Perhaps we were supposed to get some additional information or a contact number, but we didn't recieve anything from the booking website and expected to be able to navigate to the address. The address wasn't quite where it was pined on google maps, but after circling the area multiple times we just happened to come across the owner's son who escorted us there. It's down a downward dirt path and then you take a right at the fork, go around some parked cars, and then you can see the cabins after you walk behind another building. Some signs along this route would have been helpful. The owners live a 10 minute walk up the hill so I'm not sure how we would have checked in or found them, especially considering the cell signal was very poor. Once we got the wifi and the owner's number from the son, communication was good and any issues were fixed quickly. I think if we had gotten their contact information and clear check-in instructions before setting off to the cabin everything would have been much easier. The view from the cabin was nice; it looks out over the ocean (not the caldera/lake). It was a very nice expereince to be up so high in the mountains. The bed was very comfortable. The toilet/shower area is combined as a small wetroom. Convientiely, theres a small warung on the hill.

We stayed in these apar**ents for 3 days. Good location, close to Pozha Kuta. The rooms are not new, it is worth updating the kitchen (at least in our room). The price/quality ratio is quite a good option. Excellent, helpful staff, we asked for an extra pillow and towel, they brought everything. From the recommendations to the apar**ent manager, put dish sponges, paper towels and other small things for life in the rooms.
