At Hermanus, you may walk the many trails, sit in or by the river, fish, walk across the Hudson (when the water is low), snowshoe (not provided), or sit by the fire pits (two on-site). In addition, there are puzzles, games, internet Wi-Fi, and a 75" Smart TV. Wish to dine in: the kitchen has almost everything from major to small appliances and baking supplies. The caretakers share additional bathrooms: a half bath downstairs (through the heated garage) and a full bath (shower) in the heated workshop. Chestertown is about 5 miles from restaurants, and an exquisite fine-dining restaurant is minutes away.
