Very disappointing stay — not what I expected from a Sheraton hotel.
Unfortunately, my stay was not pleasant, mainly because of the room location. I was given a room directly along the corridor, where people walking past could easily see inside whenever the curtains were open. I had seen photos showing rooms with a balcony and pool view, so I was very disappointed to find that my room had no balcony. It is more like a room facing a public corridor.
The room itself was quite small, and the amenities were below what I would expect from a Sheraton. I booked the room for two people, but there was only one bathrobe, and there were no indoor slippers. The floor was also very cold. There were cups provided for tea and coffee in the room, but no teaspoons.
The towels did not look particularly white or fresh, which made me question the cleanliness. There were also flies occasionally coming into the room. The room telephone was not working properly either.
Breakfast was another disappointment. The variety was quite limited, with not many choices.
Overall, the stay did not feel like the experience I would expect from a Sheraton property. Because of the room’s location and overall condition, it sometimes felt more like staying in a hostel or basic accommodation rather than a proper hotel.
The room location was the biggest issue and had a major impact on my stay. Having a room directly beside a busy corridor meant I had very little privacy, and I could not comfortably keep the curtains open. Unfortunately, this made the room feel uncomfortable and unpleasant throughout my stay.
For a Sheraton hotel, I expected a much higher standard. Sadly, I would not consider staying here again based on this experience.
