It was our wedding anniversary. The room were superb, the private spa and real treat. The food was very tasty and the staff were attentive. There was a few things that were disappointing though. First, in the spa area there was a nespresso machine but only plastic tumblers to drink it for. Secondly, the coffee capsules in the room were not original. Thirdly, the package mentioned a welcoming gift but we didn't get anything. When I asked about it, the staff member said it was a glass of wine on the bar between 7pm and 7.30pm. We were never told this and I asked at 8pm after coming back from a walk. The same staff member had advised us on the walk so it's a shame he didn't tell us about the welcoming gift. Then, there were odd items in the room's mini bar, like two bottles of juice but only one bottle of sparkling water. Finally, the hotel should be adults only but when we were going for a walk we saw a couple going to the spa, with children clearly over 10 years old..... Other than that, it was a wonderful opportunity to detox. I'd like to pass my compliments to the lady that carried lut our massages.

A feast for all of our senses. Check them off: sight (beautiful natural setting, tasteful and relaxing decor), touch (spa, massage, bedding), taste (flawless dinner and breakfast), smell (elegant toiletries) and sound (silence, except for the soft tinkling of sheep bells). We have never been so pampered, and cannot wait to return for a longer visit.

One of the best hotels I have ever been to in my life. I hidden gem in a breathtaking location in the basque mountains. The rooms are incredible, the beds, the bathtub, the views, every single detail has been carefully thought through. The SPA is insane. Also, the level of service and attention we received was exquisite. Alberto, the manager, is exceptional. I could not recommend the place enough if you want to treat yourself with a weekend of nature, fresh air and a top-luxury hotel.

Hotel room is beautiful, mattress and pillows are exceptional. It was relaxing time. Alberto and his staff took good care of us. Spa was amazing and private, even we have to pay separate but worth it. Beautiful and green landscape. We took bicycle ride to visit waterfall and Arantxa village. Hotel gave us little beautiful souvenir to remind us of the stay.

Our stay here was exceptional from start to finish. Alberto & Johannes were so welcoming. We were upgraded on our honeymoon and had a very tranquil stay. The food was fantastic, gorgeous views in the valley and lovely nearby cycles and hikes. We enjoyed the spa and the rooms are lovely. We cannot fault this place and would highly recommend a visit! Thank you for our wonderful stay!

Hotel with true charm between meadows and mountains. Extraordinary attention from the staff, highlighting Joanes who could not be more friendly and at the same time discreet. Incredible breakfasts on the terrace, beautiful, spacious rooms with great detail, extremely comfortable beds and pillows. It has been a real pleasure staying at your hotel and enjoying the wonderful scenery.

It is a spectacular place, incredible rooms and beautiful views. Wonderful mattresses and wonderful staff and attention. Joannes the manager was super friendly. It is a place to return to. You take a bike ride to some beautiful waterfalls.

There are places like this where you think that time can slow down and where the feeling of tranquility touches you; magical we could say. The location certainly has something to do with it, but when you add in superior accommodation and impeccable staff service, you can only applaud with both hands. A one-night stay that will remain in our memories forever, offered for our part, for my wife's 60th birthday, by her brother and sister. Until then, I had only had a perfect stay once, it was at the Hermitage hotel in Evian. I therefore recommend this high-end establishment to you!
