Beautiful setting, but far below what I would expect from a 4-star family resort This is a very large resort, covering approximately 60 hectares and surrounded by beautiful nature. We stayed in the Telis area, so my review is primarily based on our experience there. The positives Upon arrival, you are directed to the main parking area, as cars are not allowed throughout the resort. Transportation inside the complex is either on foot or via the resort shuttle buses. At check-in, the staff take you and your luggage directly to your room, which is very convenient. Our room was pleasant and had air conditioning. The Telis area has several clean swimming pools at different depths, suitable for different age groups, with lifeguards present during the day. There are also plenty of sun loungers, although you need to be quick if you want to secure one in a good location. There are several restaurants throughout the resort, as well as a lovely animal park which can be enjoyable for families with children. The reception and restaurant staff were generally friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, however, the resort appears to be significantly understaffed for the number of guests it accommodates, and this affects almost every aspect of the experience. The room We booked a room for four people. Instead of proper beds for everyone, we received two beds pushed together and two pull-out armchairs. The mattresses on the armchairs were very uncomfortable, and the furniture squeaked whenever someone moved. Getting a proper night's sleep was therefore difficult. We also experienced problems with the hot water in the shower. There is a refrigerator in the room, but only one bottle of water is provided at check-in. After that, nothing is replenished – not even if you are willing to pay for it. Considering the size of the resort and the distances involved, it would make sense to allow guests to purchase water or drinks for their rooms without constantly having to walk to a bar. The terrace was never swept during our stay. Being surrounded by nature obviously means leaves and dust are unavoidable, but we regularly saw staff using leaf blowers elsewhere and nobody ever seemed to reach our terrace. Wi-Fi and mobile reception The Wi-Fi signal is extremely poor in many areas of the resort. Mobile phone coverage is also inconsistent, so in some parts of the complex you may effectively have very limited connectivity. This also creates problems at the bars because payment is card only – no cash and no possibility to charge drinks to your room. When the internet connection goes down, the card terminals stop working and you simply stand at the bar waiting for the connection to return. Bars and drinks Not every swimming pool has a bar nearby. Depending on which pool you are using, you may have to walk quite a long distance simply to buy water or a beer. Drinks are expensive. For example, a 400 ml beer costs €7. An even stranger situation occurred at the beach bar,
